Assistance needed for buildings a secure shelter
My name is **R.W.G. Madhushala Kumari Samaranayake**. I am currently a mother of three children, living in a difficult situation. This letter is written with the intention of requesting your kind consideration to obtain a stable and safe housing facility for me and my children.
Currently, I and my children are living in a rented house. The rent of that house is a huge burden compared to my current income, and it has even become a hindrance to the educational and food needs of my children. My household economy has become very difficult, and please be aware that there is a risk of leaving the house due to constant inability to pay the rent.
My past life has been full of challenges and moments. Without the support of my children's father, I am trying to secure their future and education on my own, without falling behind in the pressure of women and economic difficulties. But among all those efforts, homelessness and instability of the house are the biggest obstacles for me.
I am currently living a very practical life to continue the education of my three children. The eldest of them is preparing for the scholarship exam, and the other two are also school-going. A relevant environment is very necessary to maintain the continuity of their education. But due to the instability of the current rented house, they have to change schools and change their residence frequently, which has a serious impact on their educational and psychological status.
Among all these things, the biggest dream of my life was — **to get a stable house for me and my children**. But right now, it has been difficult to meet my income and savings to buy that house. For me, who is in a situation where it is difficult to even pay the rent, meeting the amount needed to buy a house is not a reality.
But I have a very dear house — this rented house where I have been living with my children for several years. It seems to me like a house where the laughter of children, the dreams of dark nights, and our tears come together. Therefore, making that house completely my own is one of the biggest goals in my life. But it is true that it is currently being sold and that I cannot buy it due to my financial situation.
Therefore, considering my low income and family situation, I kindly request you to provide me with the necessary support to purchase that house or to obtain another permanent home under the housing development programs or relief projects provided for essential families.
I wish to live with my children without being a burden to anyone and with dignity. If I receive relief and support, it will not only build my children's future but also build it. I believe — providing a safe home to children is what brings the future of the country.
