A Heartfelt Appeal for Help to Build Our Home Dear kind-hearted friends, My name is Samudrika Sewwandi and I am reaching out with deep humility and hope in my heart. Life has been full of challenges, but I have always believed that with faith, hard work, and the kindness of others, dreams can come true. For many years, my family and I have longed to have a place we can truly call our own—a safe and decent home to live in. I did not have the money to build one, but I worked hard and managed to take a loan to buy a small piece of land. It was a huge step for us, but I believed it was the beginning of a better future. Unfortunately, my husband does not have a permanent job, and our income is barely enough to meet our daily needs and pay off the loan. As a result, we have not been able to start building the house. Every day, I pray and dream of the day when we will have a home of our own—a place where our children can feel safe, warm, and secure. That is why I am seeking the help of well-meaning and generous people abroad who may be touched by our situation.
