Ameer our little Prince
Ameer, our bright 9-year-old Grade 4 student, faces a battle no child should. Diagnosed with leukemia, his smile, once the sunshine of our classroom, is dimmed by this illness.
Brave as ever, Ameer started the fight with chemotherapy designed for his young age. However, he needs a stronger weapon – a bone marrow transplant. It's his chance to reclaim his strength and become the happy boy we all cherish.
On Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, Ameer's spirit shone brighter than ever. He surprised us at school, missing his classmates so much that he brought gifts for everyone. This act of kindness, especially during his struggle, warms our hearts beyond words.
We, at the school, stand with Ameer and his family. While a bone marrow transplant offers hope, the financial burden can be overwhelming, especially since his father Hafez works in the firefighter unit of Beirut with a $180 monthly salary, and his mother Turkiye is unemployed.
Medical treatments are expensive, and the added stress can hinder Ameer's recovery. Knowing this, we are reaching out for your support to ease their worries and allow them to focus on what matters most – Ameer's health.
