Stand with Roger: One Step for Cancer Free
The Fight for Roger: Funding Life-Saving Cancer Surgery
We are reaching out today to ask for your support for our beloved Roger, a friend, a brother, a husband, a father, a colleague. Roger is facing the fight of his life against Stage IV Colon Cancer.
Roger is more than just a patient; he is the kindest neighbor, the heart of his family, a dedicated community volunteer. He is known for his positive personality, his infectious laugh, his unwavering optimism, willingness to help anyone, and he lights up the lives of everyone who knows him.
Unfortunately, more than a year ago, Roger received the devastating diagnosis of cancer. After consulting with his medical team, the most critical step in his treatment and path to a cure is now a complex colon cancer surgical resection.
The Challenge we face: Roger doesn't have any medical insurance. The financial burden of this extensive medical treatment over the year was overwhelming.
The costs we are fundraising for include:
The surgical fees and hospital stay. (As per LAUMCRH surgery estimation report ~ $7,100)
Post-operative care and rehabilitation, which is essential for a full recovery.
Ongoing chemotherapy/radiation treatments.
Necessary supportive care and medications to manage recovery.
Our goal is to raise [Fundraising Goal Amount $12,000] to ensure Roger can focus completely on his healing and recovery without the crushing stress of medical debt.
