Please help us save our son's life
My 15-year-old son, Hesandu Dewnith Samaraweera, was diagnosed with T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) on February 1, 2022. Hesandu is a bright and energetic boy with a promising future ahead of him, but our world turned upside down with this devastating diagnosis. T-ALL is an aggressive form of leukemia that affects white blood cells and demands immediate, intensive treatment like chemotherapy, radiation, and bone marrow transplants.
To make matters worse, Hesandu had surgery in his lumbar region on March 21, 2022, which left him paralyzed. This has been an incredibly tough journey for our brave boy and has added to the overwhelming challenges our family faces.
Recently, both my wife and I lost our jobs due to the economic downturn. We are now struggling with significant financial hardship and can't keep up with the mounting costs of Hesandu’s treatments. The expenses include hospitalization, medications, doctor’s appointments, and transportation, and we've exhausted all our savings with no other means to finance his treatment.
We are desperate and turning to you for help. Any donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in Hesandu’s fight against cancer. Your support can give him the best chance at survival and a full recovery.
Hesandu is a fighter. He is determined to beat this disease, and with your help, we can make it happen. Please consider donating to help us save our son's life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
