Give hope to baby Georges Azar, Age 6, Fight Cerebral Palsy (Spastic Quadriplegia). Georges is a bright, loving 6-year-old boy from Zahlé, Lebanon, living with cerebral palsy, which has caused spastic quadriplegia. Along with this, Georges faces developmental delay, low vision, difficulties with sensation, severe speech challenges, painful spasms, and epilepsy (currently controlled with medication). He needs intensive therapies, medical equipment, and specialized treatment to improve his comfort, mobility, and quality of life. Your support will fund therapies, equipment, and care that can help Georges stand, play, speak and smile more freely. About Georges : Georges, affectionately called baby Georges by his family, lives in Zahlé, a historic city in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley. He is a gentle, curious little boy who loves spending time with his family and lights up at the idea of going on a road trip with his loving sisters and enjoys listening to music. Despite his daily struggles, he greets the world with courage and warmth. Our greatest wish is to give Georges the chance to grow, learn, and enjoy the childhood he deserves — with less pain and more independence. Medical Background : Georges was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (spastic quadriplegia), the most severe form of CP. This condition affects all four of his limbs and his trunk, causing constant muscle stiffness, weakness, limited movement and difficulties to sleep at night. In addition, Georges faces: Developmental delay, making milestones like walking, talking, and learning much harder to reach. Low vision, which affects how he explores the world and connects with people around him. Problems with sensation, making touch and physical awareness difficult. Severe speech challenges, limiting his ability to communicate his needs and feelings. Spasms, which are painful and exhausting for him. Epilepsy, which thankfully is controlled with daily medication but requires ongoing monitoring and care. Living in Zahlé, Lebanon, makes it even harder for Georges to access the intensive therapies and specialized medical support he needs. Many treatments, equipment, and rehabilitation services are either unavailable locally or extremely costly for families. What Georges Needs Now : My wife and I dedicate the majority of our earnings to making Georges better, but unfortunately his medical needs require far more than we can manage — while also caring for his two loving sisters, ages 12 and 11, who need our attention and support as well. Georges’s medical team at American University of Beirut medical center (AUBMC) recommends: Intensive therapy: physical (25/Month), occupational (8/Month), speech (8/Month), sleep therapies and vision therapies. Adaptive equipment: wheelchair/adaptive stroller, standing frame, gait trainer, custom seating, orthotics. Medical care: spasticity management (such as Botox or medications), epilepsy monitoring, orthopedic follow-up, imaging, and pain management. Home modifications: safe seating, ramps, feeding supports, and sensory aids. Travel & logistics: Equipped car compatible for wheelchair for transportation. How Your Donation Helps: Every contribution will go directly toward Georges’s care. Donations will cover: Therapy programs. Adaptive equipment & orthotics Afo and Kafo (to be replaced as he grows). Medical procedures, visits & medications. Travel & logistics Home modifications & essential supplies. We will share receipts, updates, and progress reports so every donor can see the difference they are making. How You Can Help : Donate: No gift is too small — every amount counts. Share: Please spread Georges’s story on social media and with your community. Connect: If you know organizations, therapists, or foundations that support children with cerebral palsy, we would be grateful for introductions. Thank you for standing with Georges. With your help, Georges can access the therapy and care he urgently needs to ease his challenges and find joy in life’s little milestones. We’ll post regular updates so you can follow his progress and know exactly how your kindness is helping. Final Step for Elio’s Cochlear Journey

Medical

Final Step for Elio’s Cochlear Journey
Elio is a three-year-old child from Lebanon, diagnosed with bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). After a long process of audiological assessments, imaging, and consultations, his medical team confirmed the urgent necessity of a cochlear implant system to provide him with access to sound and enable the development of normal speech and language. While a large part of the expenses have already been secured, there remains a critical financial gap that must be closed in order to complete his treatment plan. Specifically, approximately 15% of the cochlear implant device cost (including the internal receiver-stimulator and the external speech processor) is still uncovered. This component is indispensable for the device’s full functionality and long-term performance. In addition, there are post-surgical expenditures that are essential to the success of the intervention, such as: • Initial activation and frequency mapping sessions (programming of the speech processor) • Ongoing audiological follow-up and fine-tuning of the device • Speech-language rehabilitation therapy to ensure optimal auditory and linguistic development • Post-operative medical care, including medications, wound care, and periodic evaluations Without securing these remaining amounts, Elio’s rehabilitation cannot be fully achieved, and the surgery would fall short of its intended outcome. Every contribution directly covers these uncovered portions of the device acquisition and mandatory post-operative therapeutic pathway, ensuring that Elio not only undergoes the surgery but also develops the ability to hear, speak, and live a full life.

Ambulance Car Jaj-Lebanon
Dear Family and Friends, We hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health. We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request on behalf of our village in Lebanon, Jaj. As you know, access to proper healthcare and emergency response is a growing challenge in our community. To ensure the safety and well-being of our families, children and elderly, we are launching a fundraising initiative to secure a modern, fully equipped ambulance to be placed at the disposal of the Civil Defense Center in Jaj. This vital resource will allow us to respond quickly to emergencies, transport patients safely, and save lives. The Civil Defense Center in Jaj is the backbone of safety in our area. Recognized and respected by all concerned authorities for its professionalism, dedication and highly skilled team, it plays a vital role in protecting lives and property. The Center provides essential emergency response and rescue services not only to our village but also to twelve neighboring villages that rely on its support. With the ongoing economic and living challenges in Lebanon, the modernization of equipment across the country has naturally been delayed. Our Center, which remains the cornerstone of protection and safety, has not yet been able to update its vehicles and tools. We are asking for your kind support – whether through a donation, by spreading the word, or by connecting us with others who may wish to help. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to guaranteeing safe and reliable emergency response services that will also meet highest medical standards. On behalf of the entire village, we thank you for your support and compassion. Together, we can make this mission a reality and bring peace of mind to every family in times of need.
