My name is Daniel, and I am a young boy from Lebanon living with a very rare case of primary IGF-1 deficiency. This condition has severely affected my growth and bone strength. Over time, my bones became extremely fragile, and I developed severe osteoporosis. I can no longer walk without assistance. I now rely on a wheelchair and intensive physical therapy, while using a medical walker and braces to help me take small steps.
My doctors have recommended continuing my treatment with the medication I urgently need. Unfortunately, the treatment is very expensive, and shipment of the medication requires high international shipping costs.
We need help to continue my treatment and give me the chance to stand, walk, and live with hope.

*Important Treatment Update*
Daniel's doctor has recently increased his Increlex treatment to a starting dose of 2 mg per day.
Based on his current prescription, Daniel now needs approximately 20 Increlex injections per year. The medication costs about $18,000 per year, and shipping costs are approximately $4,000 per year, bringing the current annual treatment cost to around $22,000.
Since Daniel still needs several years of treatment, we have updated our fundraising goal based on his current medical prescription.
Please note that this is only Daniel's starting dose. As he grows, his doctor may need to increase the dosage according to his medical condition and treatment response. If that happens, the total cost of his treatment may increase. We promise to keep everyone informed and share every medical update with complete transparency.
