Help a stateless Palestinian refugee
Obieda's story Help a Palestinian Refugee Rebuild His Life and Access Medical Care My name is Obaida. I am a Palestinian refugee living in Lebanon, where I have spent most of my life. Like many refugees here, my family and I live under extremely difficult economic conditions. We are struggling to meet even our most basic needs. I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, a lifelong mental health condition that requires continuous treatment, stability, and medical care. Living with this illness while facing poverty, uncertainty, and displacement has been overwhelming. In an attempt to change my situation and support my family, I traveled to South Africa and applied for asylum, hoping for safety and a chance at a dignified life. Unfortunately, my asylum request was rejected. After this rejection, the psychological pressure became unbearable, and I went through a very dark period in my life. I survived a serious crisis, and since then I have been trying to focus on healing and rebuilding myself. Today, I am asking for your help for two main reasons: To access proper medical treatment and mental health care so I can live with bipolar disorder in a stable and healthy way To find a legal and safe opportunity outside Lebanon that would allow me to improve my life and help support my family Your support—no matter how small—can help me receive treatment, regain stability, and work toward a future with dignity and hope. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean a great deal to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for your kindness and humanity

Widad vs MS: One Step at a Time to Life
Hi, my name is Widad Cheikh Ali, I’m 27 years old, and I never imagined I would one day have to ask for help like this. Five years ago, my life changed forever. What started as small, seemingly harmless symptoms, fatigue, numbness, difficulty walking, turned into a diagnosis that stopped me in my tracks: Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic and unpredictable disease that slowly damages the nerves and disrupts the connection between the brain and body. MS has taken from me what I once took for granted. First, it was the numbness. Then, the weakness. And eventually… my ability to walk. Today, I rely on support for movements I used to do effortlessly. My days are filled with pain, spasms, and uncertainty about what tomorrow will bring. But even in the hardest moments, I refuse to give up hope. Recently, after several medical evaluations, specialists confirmed that I urgently need a 12-month rehabilitation and neuromodulation program. This is my best chance to prevent further nerve damage and regain mobility. The treatment includes: Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) Neuromuscular rehabilitation Needle therapy (dry needling) Specialized spasticity treatments 24 targeted medical sessions crucial for managing my condition This program is not just therapy. It is my lifeline. It offers me a real chance to regain mobility, reduce pain, and rebuild my independence. 💔 The Financial Burden The full treatment costs $30,000 for 12 months. With ongoing therapy, transportation, medical supplies, and living expenses, the total I need to secure is $40,000. As a young woman who can no longer work because of MS, I simply cannot do this alone. Why I’m Asking for Your Help I’ve always believed in being strong and handling life on my own. But today, I have no other choice. I am fighting for my future, To walk again To stand on my own feet To live without constant pain To take back the life MS is trying to steal from me Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to hope, healing, and independence. If you cannot donate, please share my story. Your support means the world to me and helps give me a fighting chance. From the bottom of my heart, Widad

For the past two years, Josephine has been bravely battling throat cancer and COPD, which severely affected her lungs. She underwent a tracheostomy and has faced countless treatments, hospital visits, and daily challenges. Despite the pain, the inability to eat, and the heavy medications and antibiotics, my mother has never lost her strength or hope. She continues to fight with incredible courage. Today, she needs our support more than ever. The medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and daily care have placed an overwhelming financial burden on our family. Doctors have now recommended a PEG procedure (a feeding tube inserted into the stomach) so she can receive proper nutrition, as she is no longer able to eat or drink by mouth. She needs your support to continue her treatment and access the medications she depends on. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has stood by us during this difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
