A safee home for my family.

Solidarity with Lebanon

A safee home for my family.
Yet again after 1 year of peace, we were forced to evacuate at 2 AM from our homes under heavy bombings, there's no words that i can say or write that can describe the fear that my family had to endure whilst evacuating, we just left without taking any of our belongings, i couldn't even find the lock for my cats cage so i had to just carry him to the car, where btw he was scared shitless from the sounds so he basically peed on me in the elevator but yeah seeing how scared everyone was on the streets just makes me wonder, since when did we loose our humanity, and seeing today the look on my 11 year old sisters face jusy basically destroyed me, for the second time, i wish again i could do more to my family, to protect them, to never make them feel that horror again. Am a 26 year old lebanese that was forced to evacuate during the first israel bombing on Lebanon with my family of 5 and our cat, we had to just take whatever we can as quick as we can and just get out of the city to my aunts place, and my family haven't even recovered yet from the horrors of the 2024 66 days war, i can type over a million word to explain how hard every second was during this week of war, and how a small thing was so simple back then but now is a big problem to us, and every second of the 2024 war, that's an experience that will never leave my mind, and i want to share with you all 1 story in particular, cause i don't know what else i can do to protect and shelter my family, so ever since the war started, here in lebanon we have a free economy, meaning every apartment owner can decide the rent/price of their houses, but a small 2 bedroom apartment used to average 300 to 400$, but now, since day 1, brokers and apartment owners started monopolizing everything, what was a 300$ rent for a small unfurnished apartment, is now almost a 1000$ + brokers fee + rent paid upfront for a minimum of 3 month, which averages over 3000$ for example, in my family each and every one of us is working, but my brother had been put on hold without salary due to his job being in suburb beirut, and i work remote but my employers paid me half salary cuz they knew i wouldn't be able to work cuz i dont have my equipment with me, but days ago i managed to get my equipment and some of our clothes but there isnt really any room here to put my stuff and work, so what we got is less than 1800$ as a family which is almost half gone since day 1 of the war, and apartment prices are way too extreme for us to be able to afford, and we were over 21 people in my aunts place but we had to move out to another shared apartment where we're staying now in a room with my other cousins so were 14 people , and my family is barely sleeping, were basically taking turns in sleeping, our house in the south of lebanon is completely gone I have pictures and videos of it from when the 2025 war ended but now its under occupation, our apartment in suburb beirut isn't safe to stay in cuz of the constant bombings in the area plus the whole neighborhood being destroyed, last time i checked when i got some of our stuff, our apartment is still there but damaged, i got no news if its still there now but still our apartment in suburb beirut dahyeh is not safe at all to stay in, so i just want to ask you to please help with as much as you can or if anyone has any job opportunities ill happily do 2 jobs to manage, there's probably people that are in much more unfortunate situation than us like the people staying in the streets cause they cant afford anything, if you can please help and spread the word so maybe these brokers will come back to their senses or if there's any fairness in this country that would push them to make the prices more reasonable. I've been trying non stop trying to find an affordable apartment to rent for weeks now, not for me but for my family, together we're jointly managing to survive and hopefully we will get thro this together and your help will be much appreciated cuz it will help us get on our feet so that in the upcoming month we can manage, I wish you all the best and please don't stop talking about lebanon, I wish this nightmare ends soon, and hopefully everyone makes it out safe and sound.

We have identified families based on urgent needs, focusing on: Households led by single mothers. Families with elderly members or individuals with disabilities. How your donation helps: $250: Can contribute significantly toward one family's monthly rent. $500: Can secure a safe home for a family for nearly two months. $5000: Can provide a "Security Shield" for 10 families for the entire duration of the project of 2 months rent assistant for each family. Donations Without Borders to Lebanon

Solidarity with Lebanon

Donations Without Borders to Lebanon
**Donations Without Borders: Restoring the psychological and physical security of our families in Lebanon** There are gazes that can never be forgotten. Those of a mother fleeing with her newborn, or those of a son who has just lost everything. Since March 2, 2026, Lebanon no longer only counts its ruins: it mourns its martyrs, its loved ones, and its decimated families. Every life cut short leaves behind an immense void and survivors whose hearts are in tatters. Behind the chilling figure of 1.2 million displaced people, there are faces marked by the pain of loss and the shadow of those who are no longer here. The urgency of a helping hand: In Saida, the NouNaïDa team, driven by the experience of Darine Saleh, fights every minute for the living. Where the silence of fear settles, we bring a presence, a breath, a shoulder. Because grief is even heavier under the bombs, our mission is vital: -Healing souls: Drawing on Darine’s 20 years of expertise in psychotherapy and her commitment to the Red Cross, we help survivors carry the weight of trauma and loss. -Protecting survivors: We intervene to ensure that hunger and disease do not claim more victims. Your humanity is their only shield! We need $5,000 USD to keep life beating, against all odds: -For newborns: Milk and care so that life triumphs. -For the sick and the elderly: Vital medicines (cancer, diabetes) and mobility equipment to leave no one behind. -For broken families: A dry mattress, clean water, and the warmth of a blanket. Every gesture changes a life: -$80: Provides dignity and hygiene to a family that has lost everything. -$150: Offers the peace of mind to a father who knows his children will eat their fill for a month. -$250: Provides a safe roof and the medical care that saves a life in the midst of chaos. War often makes us feel helpless. But today, you have an immense power: the power to decide if a family will sleep in the cold of the street or in the warmth of a shelter. Your generosity is their light. Thank you for standing by our side!
