Please Help Us Survive & Rebuild Our Lives🙏💔
⚠️Urgent Fundraiser – Please Help Us Survive🙏💔 Dear Kind Souls, My name is Jean Hatoum. Until a few months ago, my family had a simple life in Debel, a village in south Lebanon near border. Today, everything we had is gone. On February 28, 2026, when the war in Lebanon escalated again, our home was bombed for the second time. We had already rebuilt our house after the war in 2024, believing we could start over. This time, we lost everything again — our home, our belongings, and the life we spent years rebuilding. The bombing also took the life of my father. He died on March 1, 2026. In fear and shock, my mother, my brother David, and I fled our village with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. On the road to Beirut, tragedy struck again. My mother suffered a heart attack. We rushed her to a hospital in Tyre, South Lebanon. By God’s mercy she survived, but we had to continue our journey with nothing. We slept outside, under trees, not knowing where to go, until a kind stranger offered to take us to Beirut. But even the journey was not safe. When we arrived near Haret Hreik in Beirut, another building was bombed close to us, we didn’t know that a warning was sent to that area to be evicted. My brother was injured in the explosion. With the help of the Lebanese Red Cross, we were taken to Abou Jaoude Hospital, in Jal Dib on March 2, 2026. As I write this: We have no home, no belongings, no savings, no stability, and no idea where we will sleep tomorrow. Medical bills are already piling up. Medications, and care that we simply cannot afford. We also need, basic necessities, and medicine for our family. Before this war began, I was already struggling with severe personal and health challenges and had started a fundraiser to try to begin my own treatment, link to my fundraising is: https://fundahope.com/en/campaigns/from-panic-to-collapse-trying-to-survive. Now everything has collapsed on top of us at once. We are not asking for comfort. We are only asking for a chance to survive. Our goal is $10,000. This amount will help us: • Pay hospital bills • Buy medications, and see doctors. • Find a small apartment since we are unable to go back home. • Cover basic daily needs while we try to rebuild our lives and find jobs This fundraiser will remain open for end of June. After that, depending on our situation, we will see if we can extend it. Even $5 or $10 can make a difference for us right now. We know thousands of families are suffering in these difficult days. We are only one family among many. But today, we are standing at the edge of survival, praying that kind hearts will help us stand again. If you cannot donate, please share this message so it can reach someone who might help. Those sleeping in the streets today are our families and our brothers and sisters. Do not turn your face away from them, for one day you may need a compassionate heart just as they need yours today. Humanity binds us together, and mercy is God’s path among people. What is happening because of the war has forced many families to leave their homes suddenly, without money, clothes, or even the most basic necessities. In times like these, the least we can do is stand by one another. One mattress can make a difference. One blanket can keep a child warm. One dollar can bring comfort and safety to an entire family. The war is still ongoing, and displacement and suffering have not stopped. Our people are exhausted, displaced, and in need of support. Let us be there for them. Let us stand together and provide safe and dignified shelter for these families, especially those sleeping in the streets. No one should have to sleep outside. We ask everyone to help however they can. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a real difference. Let us stand by one another.

Support First Responders in Lebanon
We are a small group of journalists based in Lebanon. Through our work, we are in direct contact with paramedics, rescuers, and firefighters operating on the ground in Lebanon. We are acting independently and are not affiliated with any political or governmental entity. We have seen first-hand the work they do—the hours, the risks, and the commitment to saving lives, and most of them are volunteers. Many of them continue to respond under extremely dangerous conditions. They have also been directly affected. Teams have been targeted while carrying out rescue operations. Some have been injured, some killed, and many have lost the vehicles and equipment they rely on. According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, since March 2, 2026, at least 113 healthcare workers have been killed, 263 injured, 138 emergency vehicles damaged, 16 hospitals affected, and 3 forced to close. This fundraiser is a way to give something back—practical support that can make a difference in their daily work. Our goal is to equip at least 20 emergency response stations with a minimum of 5 fully operational GoPro kits and emergency kits based on each station’s operational needs. Each GoPro kit costs approximately $420 and includes the camera along with essential accessories such as batteries, mounts, and memory cards so they can be used immediately in the field. Trauma kits (IFAKs) cost approximately $40 each, while ambulance trauma kits cost approximately $100 each. The GoPro kits are not only intended for documentation — they can also help provide a level of protection for responders on the ground. Recording rescue operations supports accountability, helps document incidents affecting emergency teams, and makes visible the realities responders face during missions. It also supports coordination and post-operation review for emergency teams. The initiative also aims to provide emergency and trauma kits to help teams respond more effectively during rescue and medical operations. Equipment and supplies will be delivered directly to emergency response stations through trusted field contacts and coordination with responders on the ground. Where possible, we will share updates, documentation, and delivery confirmations. If you do not have a bank account and would still like to contribute, WHISH Money transfers and Western Union are also available options. You can send transfers to: - Angie Mourad (+96176066901) These teams continue to show up every day. This is a way to stand behind them in return. Any contribution helps.
