Stand in Solidarity with Displaced Families
Lebanon is currently facing an urgent and devastating crisis. The ongoing war has displaced thousands of families, forcing them to flee their homes and seek refuge in areas where resources are scarce and conditions are deteriorating rapidly. Better Habitat, a registered NGO based in the Hasbayya and Marjeyoun district, is collaborating with the Qudrat youth team to launch an emergency relief fund aimed at providing essential supplies. This initiative aims to deliver critical necessities such as canned food, bread, water, kitchen tools, diapers, baby formula, medication, blankets, pillows, sheets, and cleaning supplies. Our mission is clear: every dollar raised through this fund will go directly toward purchasing essential food supplies and ensuring access to clean, safe drinking water. The situation is dire, and without immediate action, the health and well-being of these vulnerable individuals will deteriorate rapidly. We urgently need your help to make this initiative a reality. Your contribution can be the difference between life and death for those suffering. This is a crucial moment, and your generosity is more important than ever. Every donation will directly provide these basic, life-sustaining resources to those who need them most. Thank you for your compassion and unwavering support during these difficult times. Together, we can deliver the relief these families desperately need and emerge from this disaster as a united nation. With deepest gratitude, Better Habitat & Qudrat

Support Displaced Lebanese Families
Campaign Description: A humanitarian catastrophe is unfolding in Lebanon, and it’s nothing short of heartbreaking. Thousands of families from southern Lebanon have been displaced by the ongoing conflict, forced to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. In Mount Lebanon, we’ve witnessed families arrive exhausted, with no shelter, food, or basic supplies. They are caught between the horrors of war and the failure of governmental support, left to navigate this crisis alone. But we refuse to stand by and watch. We are "Time for Solidarity", a committed network of over 100 volunteers working tirelessly to support the displaced. We have already provided essential relief to over 1,000 families but the need continues to grow daily. With no evacuation plan and an overwhelmed government, local schools and shelters are under-resourced and ill-prepared to handle this influx of people. Our four relief centers across Aley—Aley City, Jurd Aley, and West Aley—are working around the clock to provide families with the essentials: mattresses, blankets, hygiene products, food, and urgent medical supplies. In these uncertain times, we are their only lifeline. Here’s What We’ve Accomplished So Far: (Just in two days; September 23rd and 24th) - Equipped schools to serve as emergency shelters for displaced families. - Distributed 200 Keshk & Zaatar manakish, 300 hot meals (rice and chicken), 200 additional meals (rice, chicken, and kibbeh), and 300 falafel sandwiches for lunch. - Delivered 307 falafel sandwiches and 300+ sandwiches (cheese, mortadella, and labneh) across three meals in one day. - Distributed bags of baby and adult diapers, 100+ bags of pads, 600+ cans of food, and more than 500 loaves of bread. - Provided 100+ Mattresses. - Supplied essential hygiene items including rolls of trash bags, mops, floor wipers, buckets, tissues, and cleaning supplies. - Provided 40 sets of pajamas, clothing for children aged 6-12, and more than 300 jackets to those in need. Despite these efforts, the scale of the crisis is immense, and the resources are rapidly running out. The Crisis We’re Facing: The district governor of Aley, Badr Zaidan, recently reported on the 24th of September that over 13,000+ people have been displaced to the region, far exceeding the area’s capacity. Shelters are full, food and medical supplies are running out, and skyrocketing rent prices are leaving families without a roof over their heads. With government support almost non-existent, these families are left vulnerable, many sleeping on cold floors or in their cars. How Your Donation Will Help: - *$30* will provide food and hygiene essentials for a family for a week. - *$50* will supply urgent medicines for children or feminine hygiene products for women. - *$100* will provide mattresses and blankets, ensuring a family doesn’t sleep on the floor. - *$200* will supply diapers and formula milk for babies for a month. *Your support will help us:* - Continue to provide safe shelter, food, and hygiene products to displaced families. - Equip schools and shelters to accommodate the growing number of families in need. - Ensure women receive the necessary sanitary items and children access critical medical care. This is not just about survival for today—it’s about restoring dignity and hope for tomorrow. The road ahead is long, and we cannot do this alone. *We need your help to ensure that no one is forgotten in this time of crisis.* Join us in this fight. Together, we can make a lasting difference for the thousands of families who have lost everything. Donate today, and please share our campaign with your friends and family. Every voice and every dollar counts.
