Support displaced families & farmers
Over the last few months, the escalation of the war in Lebanon has forced thousands of families from their homes. Many are now living in temporary shelters, schools, or with relatives struggling to meet their most basic need: food. At the same time, small farmers and local food producers are also facing the impact of the crisis, with disrupted markets and falling incomes. Our community believes there is a way to support both. About Dikken el Mazraa Dikken el Mazraa is an experimental solidarity grocery store in Beirut that connects local farmers, producers, and communities through ethical and accessible food systems. Launched in October 2020, Dikken el Mazraa was created to respond to the growing humanitarian needs caused by the economic crisis using our existing community networks to deliver fast, dignified food support to families who need it most. In the current context of war, many humanitarian responses rely on large supply chains that often bypass local producers. Dikken el Mazraa fills this gap by purchasing directly from trusted small-scale farmers and producers across Lebanon and channeling these products to vulnerable communities and social kitchens preparing meals for displaced families . Your donation strengthens local food supply chains and provides direct assistance to those who need it most. About the fundraiser Your contribution will directly fund: • Purchasing food from local farmers • Preparing food baskets for displaced families • Delivering supplies to social kitchens active in the crisis response Every contribution makes a difference. Even small donations help us reach more families.

Urgent Appeal to Lebanon: $300,000 to Save Hundreds of Families from Displacement. To every living conscience, to the Lebanese diaspora, and to all friends of Lebanon everywhere. From the heart of Beirut, the war-torn city, amidst the rubble of homes destroyed by relentless bombardment, we raise this humanitarian appeal for help. Today, Lebanon is not only bleeding, but its dignity and humanity are under threat. The war imposed on our people has turned hundreds of thousands of peaceful citizens into internally displaced refugees. Imagine entire families fleeing airstrikes, with nothing but the clothes on their backs, forced to sleep on sidewalks, in schools, and in public parks, without shelter, without food, and without even a drop of clean water. We are facing a colossal catastrophe: our children without milk, our elderly without medicine, and everyone without a home. We have set an urgent goal of raising $300,000 as a first step. This amount is not just a number; This involves: Providing food parcels sufficient for approximately 1,000 families for several weeks. Providing mattresses, blankets, and winter clothing for those who have lost everything. Renting and equipping temporary shelters to protect the dignity of those displaced from the streets. Providing hygiene supplies and essential medicines to prevent the spread of disease in overcrowded centers. Every dollar you donate today is a lifeline for someone who has lost hope, a meal for a hungry child, and a blanket for a mother trying to protect her little ones from the cold night. Lebanon, which has always been a beacon of beauty, needs you today to survive. We urge you to donate and share this appeal as widely as possible. Don't leave them alone; Lebanon is a trust in all our hands. Beneficiaries: Families affected by targeted bombing areas in Beirut and surrounding areas. -------------------------------------- Jiwar Foundation: A Lasting Impact... and Renewed Hope. From the heart of Beirut, in 2010, Jiwar Foundation was launched as a humanitarian non-governmental organization with a noble mission: to be a neighbor and a source of support for every person in times of hardship. Human Dignity First: We believe that true giving preserves the dignity of the recipient and gives them hope for a better tomorrow. Your donation today is not just a sum of money; it's a life saved, a smile restored, and a future built. Be part of the "Jiwar" family and join us in writing a new story of resilience in Lebanon.
