Providing Trauma Therapy for People in Lebanon

Solidarity with Lebanon

Providing Trauma Therapy for People in Lebanon
While humanitarian efforts focus on food, shelter, and basic needs, mental health support remains critically unaddressed, despite being essential for true, long-term recovery. Let's take a moment to put ourselves in their place. They left their homes not knowing if they will ever see them again. They fled without the chance to gather their belongings, their memories, their lives. Some escaped while violence unfolded around them. Others lost multiple family members in a single moment. And now, they are expected to rebuild from nothing, in the middle of an ongoing financial crisis. These humans need psychological support, and they need it now! But without your help, our ability to reach them remains limited. Through this campaign, we aim to begin by supporting 200 individuals through a team of 10 therapists, with each therapist caring for approximately 20 people. As funding grows, we will expand our team to reach even more people in need. As an association, we significantly reduce the cost of therapy. While sessions typically range between $50–$100, we offer: - 1:1 therapy sessions at $20–$30 per session - Group therapy sessions at $5 per person Therapists are partially compensated. Many contribute with a deep sense of purpose, accepting symbolic compensation that honors their time while allowing them to continue this essential work. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a real difference. It directly funds therapy sessions, supports therapists, and allows us to reach more people who would otherwise be left to face their trauma alone.

Emergency Aid for Families Displaced in Lebanon

Solidarity with Lebanon

Emergency Aid for Families Displaced in Lebanon
Hi, my name is Mona Ezzeddine and I am raising funds to support families who have been displaced by the ongoing Israeli military escalation in Lebanon. Over the past days, many families in Lebanon have been forced to flee their homes with almost no time to prepare. Entire communities have left behind everything — homes, belongings, and livelihoods — seeking safety in other parts of the country. Many of these families are now staying in temporary shelters, schools, or with relatives. They urgently need basic necessities such as food, baby supplies, hygiene items, mattresses, and emergency medical support. This fundraiser aims to provide direct humanitarian assistance to displaced families, especially those with children, elderly members, and people with medical needs. Funds raised will be used to provide: Food and water Baby formula, diapers, and child essentials Hygiene kits and sanitary products Mattresses, blankets, and basic shelter supplies Emergency medicine and basic medical needs All assistance will be distributed directly to displaced families through myself and a team of local volunteers and community networks on the ground in Lebanon. We will share updates and receipts whenever possible to ensure transparency and show exactly how donations are helping families in need. Even a small contribution can make a difference during this extremely difficult time. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help us reach more people. Thank you for your support and solidarity.

Help Lebanon, Be a partner in saving 1000 families
Urgent Appeal to Lebanon: $300,000 to Save Hundreds of Families from Displacement. To every living conscience, to the Lebanese diaspora, and to all friends of Lebanon everywhere. From the heart of Beirut, the war-torn city, amidst the rubble of homes destroyed by relentless bombardment, we raise this humanitarian appeal for help. Today, Lebanon is not only bleeding, but its dignity and humanity are under threat. The war imposed on our people has turned hundreds of thousands of peaceful citizens into internally displaced refugees. Imagine entire families fleeing airstrikes, with nothing but the clothes on their backs, forced to sleep on sidewalks, in schools, and in public parks, without shelter, without food, and without even a drop of clean water. We are facing a colossal catastrophe: our children without milk, our elderly without medicine, and everyone without a home. We have set an urgent goal of raising $300,000 as a first step. This amount is not just a number; This involves: Providing food parcels sufficient for approximately 1,000 families for several weeks. Providing mattresses, blankets, and winter clothing for those who have lost everything. Renting and equipping temporary shelters to protect the dignity of those displaced from the streets. Providing hygiene supplies and essential medicines to prevent the spread of disease in overcrowded centers. Every dollar you donate today is a lifeline for someone who has lost hope, a meal for a hungry child, and a blanket for a mother trying to protect her little ones from the cold night. Lebanon, which has always been a beacon of beauty, needs you today to survive. We urge you to donate and share this appeal as widely as possible. Don't leave them alone; Lebanon is a trust in all our hands. Beneficiaries: Families affected by targeted bombing areas in Beirut and surrounding areas. -------------------------------------- Jiwar Foundation: A Lasting Impact... and Renewed Hope. Community Support for Farmers in Lebanon

Solidarity with Lebanon

Community Support for Farmers in Lebanon
Arabic and French versions below : The Agricultural Movement is organizing a solidarity campaign to support farmers who are being threatened by Israeli attacks.  In addition to the daily massacres, destruction campaigns and mass displacement of the people of the land, the Israeli army is also purposefully targetting agricultural lands in the South of Lebanon and Beqaa Valley. We have seen this coming with the targeting of the vital infrastructure of our land with the aim to lay the foundation for mass starvation, as we have all witnessed happening in Gaza. In this context and in support of the rights of people to defend their land and sovereignty, we would like to stand in solidarity with farmers and support them by planting heirloom seeds, help feed and move cattles to safe zones, and make sure that we can still produce in times of war and siege. With the collected amount, we will first distribute heirloom seeds, grow them in nurseries and send them to farmers, as well as communities in many towns across Lebanon. In times of war, decentralizing the production is essential to fight against the weaponization of food. The collected amount will allow us to : Produce seedlings for the new season (tomatoes, thyme, eggplants, zucchini) and heirloom seeds distribution to farmers (molokheya, onions...) in areas not under threat. Cover labour costs (agricultural workers) Cover shelter, feed and transportation costs of cattles and beehives from threatened zones to safe areas. Provide food baskets for displaced and resilient families in the South. If you have any question, feel free to reach out to AgriMovement on marhaba@agrimovement.org or on their Instagram page (@agrimovementlb)
