19.8 Beirut Global Sports Challenge - 2nd Edition
Together LiBeirut is holding the second edition of the 19.8 Beirut Global Sports Challenge to keep moving for our city, and keep the needs of Lebanon in everyone's mind.
Inspired by 19.8km2, the distance area of our vibrant capital, the 19.8 Beirut Global Sports Challenge invites all Lebanese and Lebanon lovers around the world to practice the sport of their choice over a target of 19.8 or 198, km, meters, laps, minutes etc.
This global solidarity movement will unite athletes, Lebanese and Lebanon lovers worldwide on Oct 1 & 2 , to share their challenge, spread the word and help raise funds for the ongoing mission of Together LiBeirut across Lebanon:
Build the capacity of our healthcare networks:
Empower 3 networks of hospitals and primary health care centers with energy solutions and allow access to medication and hospitalization to 1,750 vulnerable patients
Promote mental health:
Offer free mental health treatment and awareness to 30,000 individuals focusing on youth
Protect our livelihoods:
Create 4 manufacturing hubs across Lebanon and support 28 businesses
Preserve our heritage:
Rehabilitate the Saint Nicolas cluster of 4 buildings and the iconic stairs
