Over time, their mission has continued to grow and adapt to the evolving needs of society: caring for orphans, educating girls, and fostering the human, intellectual, and spiritual development of generations of youth. Today, our school is like a tree with many branches: - An academic school from preschool through to the Brevet. - A technical school offering two specializations: Hospitality and IT/Accounting. - A boarding facility welcoming vulnerable children from across Lebanon, of all cultures and religions, aged 6 to 18. - A daycare center for children aged 1 to 3. Our students can pursue state-recognized diploma programs: the Brevet Professionnel track (BP1, BP2), followed by the Baccalauréat Technique (BT1 to BT3), paving the way to professional independence. Our school, a Catholic and French-speaking institution recognized as an NGO, welcomes around 340 students, supported by 50 teachers and administrative staff. More than just a place of learning, it is a place of life and hope, where everyone is welcomed, heard, and supported. We believe in an education that gives meaning to life, one that nurtures humanity, responsibility, and freedom. An education that teaches young people to use their talents in service of the common good and prepares them to build a more just, fraternal, and beautiful society. Since October 2018, like our country, our school has been going through a series of deep crises. The state no longer provides the financial support we are entitled to for our social institution and for the primary and technical schools. Families have also been severely affected: nearly 50% of parents are unemployed or receive only half a salary, making it difficult for them to pay school fees. And yet, our team remain committed and continue to welcome, educate, and support all our students without exception. Every day, with faith and courage, we carry on our mission, sowing the seeds of knowledge and learning. In this unprecedented context where we are unable to meet the growing operational needs of the school but are still striving to honor our commitments to our educational staff and ease the financial burden on families, we need your support. Today, more than ever, we appeal to the generosity of our friends and benefactors. By sponsoring an orphan or a student facing severe social or financial hardship, you become part of a powerful human chain, helping sustain our educational mission and keeping the flame of knowledge, life, and hope alive in the eyes of all our students, without exception. Urgent plea : Help My kids Secure Thier Future

Family

Urgent plea : Help My kids Secure Thier Future
My name is Ahmed, A loving father for two amazing little kids, A father who is fighting to keep hope alive for my children. The war in Gaza has taken everything from us—our home, our belongings, and our peace. But it has not taken my love for my children, nor my desire to give them a future. Every day, I wake up to the sound of silence where there used to be laughter. The faces of my children, once full of joy, now carry the weight of fear and uncertainty. I see the questions in their eyes, the worry that they will never feel safe again, and I wish more than anything that I could take that fear away. As a father, it is the hardest thing to see your children suffer because you cannot protect them the way you want to. The war has stolen our stability, but it has not stolen my hope. I want to give my kids something to look forward to—a future full of dreams, opportunities, and safety. But right now, all I can offer them is the promise that I will do everything in my power to rebuild our lives. I cannot do it alone. I need your help. I am asking for your support so that my children can have a future beyond the scars of war. Every donation will help me provide them with the basic things they need—an education, a safe place to grow, and the chance to rebuild their lives. I want them to know that despite everything we’ve lost, there is still hope, and there are still people who care. Please, help me keep the promise I made to my children: that no matter what happens, their future will be better than the past they have known. Your support will mean more than words can express, it will mean a future where my kids can dream again, and where their lives are no longer defined by the pain of war. From the depths of my heart, thank you for helping me give my children the chance they deserve.

12,000 People, $30 Each! A second chance at life!

Emergency

12,000 People, $30 Each! A second chance at life!
12,000 People, $30 Each. My Story: Six years ago, my life took an unexpected turn when I lost my long-term employment without warning. This sudden loss of income created significant financial hardship. Despite my best efforts to find stable work quickly, I faced challenges securing a position that could cover essential living expenses. To manage basic needs like housing, utilities, and food during this extended period of underemployment, I had to rely on credit and loans. Unfortunately, this resulted in accumulating substantial debt over time. This debt wasn't incurred through irresponsible spending, but rather through the necessity of covering fundamental living costs while actively seeking sustainable employment. The Situation Now: While I have consistently worked small part time gigs (writing resumes, part time barista, ushering events), and significantly reduced my expenses, the weight of the accumulated debt, including interest, remains a major obstacle to regaining financial stability. The total amount needed to resolve this situation is $360,000. This amount covers debt from friends, loan repayment, essential bills, rent/housing costs. Facing this challenge has been incredibly difficult, but I am determined to move forward. Resolving this debt is a critical step towards rebuilding my life, securing stable housing, and focusing on a sustainable future. Why I Need Your Support: I’m asking 12,000 people to give just ❤️ $30 each. I have explored every available option, including bank loan restructuring, rent deferment and repayment through installments, selling personal belongings, but I haven't been able to overcome this financial hurdle as there was no steady income coming in. This campaign represents my effort to regain control of my financial situation and prevent further hardships, like being evicted from my home, losing my credit score and how this will impact on my future employment prospects. Your support would provide the crucial assistance needed to clear this debt and allow me to focus on building a stable foundation. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a tangible difference. • A donation of $30 help covers daily essentials without relying on further credit. • A donation of $100 contributes directly to reducing the principal debt amount. • Reaching the goal of $360,000 would allow me to fully resolve these outstanding obligations and start fresh. How You Can Help: 1. Donate: Any amount you can contribute brings me closer to financial stability. Thank you for considering a donation. 2. Share: Sharing this campaign with your network can significantly increase its reach. Please consider sharing it with others who might be willing to help. 3. Encourage: Kind words and encouragement mean a lot during challenging times. My Commitment: This situation has been humbling, and asking for help is not easy. I am committed to overcoming this challenge and rebuilding my life. Your support offers more than just financial relief; it provides hope and a chance to move forward positively. I am deeply grateful for any support you can offer. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering my request. ________________________________________ 3 Mois, 12 000 Personnes, 30 $ Chacun ! ________________________________________ 3 أشهر، 12,000 شخص، 30$ لكل شخص!

Powering Breath: Affordable Ventilators for Africa
Powering Breath: Affordable Ventilators for Africa
Hi. My name is Hank DeBey. My team and I are in Africa, and we have developed an amazing new medical device to treat the most lethal diseases in Africa, lung diseases. Lung diseases kill more than three times as many people as malaria. An essential tool for treating lung diseases is the ventilator, but in Africa, ventilators are virtually non-existent. In Africa, there is less than one ventilator for every 100,000 people, while in the USA, there are 35 ventilators for every 100,000. The primary reason ventilators are rarely found in Africa is they are very expensive, ranging from $20,000 to $55,000. Another factor contributing to the scarcity of ventilators in Africa is the fact that they require a procedure called intubation and people sufficiently trained to carry out intubations are about as scarce as the ventilators themselves. We have developed a ventilator that is perfect for use in Africa. We call it the Afri-Genie ventilator, and it offers a truly life-saving solution for millions of people across Africa each year. Our Afri-Genie ventilator is incredibly low-cost at less than $3,000 and it doesn't require intubations to be performed, yet it achieves the basic specifications of conventional ventilators. Those two factors mean that it can be deployed not only in big city hospitals but it can even be used by minimally-trained community health workers in small rural clinics. A key design principle of our Afri-Genie ventilator is the use of locally available materials common across Africa, such as plumbing pipes and automotive repair parts. This eliminates complex, expensive supply chains and simplifies manufacturing and ongoing product support. We urgently need your help to carry out clinical trials of our new ventilator and to start deploying it as widely as possible. Here is How Your Contributions Will Be Used: - Upgrade to fair salaries for our dedicated volunteer team - Upgrade our production capabilities - Conduct 24-hour stress testing of multiple ventilators to prove durability and reliability - Install solar panels to ensure uninterrupted power for testing, despite daily power outages - Relocate to a larger facility that can support expanded operations - Cover clinical trial expenses, including regulatory approvals, supplies, and logistics Of course, these aspirations hinge upon the help you can give us and the actual level of these activities will be scaled according to the donations received Please click the donate button now.

I don't know who will read my message, but I hope
I’m Mohammad, and I Need Your Help to Rebuild My Life My name is Mohammad, a 16-year-old Palestinian boy, born in Gaza. Recently, I was forced to leave my homeland and leave some of my family and friends behind in search of safety. Now, I live in Egypt, far from them and from everything I once loved. Life here is tough, and every day I live, I miss their faces and dream of returning, but the circumstances are stronger than me. A long time ago, I went through a painful experience that still haunts me to this day. I was walking down the street when a police car next to me was hit by an airstrike. It wasn’t just a car; it was, for us, a symbol of safety amidst the constant fear. In a single moment, I watched four people lose their lives right before my eyes. The days passed, but that scene has never left my memory, and the symptoms of the trauma still follow me to this day. Animals have always been an important part of my life. I had two beautiful cats, Besa and Snow, and two wonderful parrots, Coco and Lulu, and they had little chicks at the time. They were my real source of happiness, especially amidst all the pain we lived through. When we were forced to leave, we thought we would return in just a few days. For that reason, we left our little birds with enough food, believing we would return quickly to take care of them. But I had no idea I would never see them again. Due to the long period of displacement, the pair of birds and their chicks all died from hunger, after their food ran out, without anyone to take care of them. Today, I live without them all, and I miss their presence that once filled my life with joy. Despite all these losses, I still hold onto hope. I dream of going back to studying, returning to my hobbies, and building a future despite everything. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Any support, no matter how small, could make a real difference in my life. I’m not asking for much... just a chance to start over. Please, be a part of my story. Let’s write a new chapter together, filled with hope. Thank you to everyone who reads my message and extends a helping hand. — Mohammad from Gaza

Save Khawla and Khalil's lives from illness.

Emergency

Save Khawla and Khalil's lives from illness.
UPDATE: This was fund was initially created for Khawla, whose story is written further below, but has been updated to include her brother, Khalil, the youngest of the family and the only one born during the genocide. Unfortunately, Khalil suffered from a growth in his skull since he was a baby, and his parents had hoped that it was benign. After consulting with numerous doctors and undergoing tests and scans, they have been informed that he will be in need of surgery as the tumour is connected to his brain. This fund is set up to help the Al-Muranekh family with their medical woes. The following is the initial message of the fundraiser, detailing Khawla's plight: Khawla is a sweet child who has lived a third of her life under genocide. Her family has undergone unspeakable horrors, having their homes destroyed, their father grievously injured, and being forced to evacuate multiple times and live on the streets. Only yesterday they were forced to evacuate again. A few months ago, Khawla was seriously wounded by a bomb dropped on the tents of the displaced, along with her siblings, Razan and Maria, who also sustained injuries. Her injury has left her with terrible scars and a disability: she can no longer walk properly and is no longer the happy child she once was. Medical documentation is available in the photos attached to this campaign. Khawla's parents want her to have a chance at life. They want her to receive treatment abroad as the health system in Gaza has been decimated by the occupation's policy of eliminating Palestinian society by rendering life impossible. Please help Khawla and Khalil get the treatment they need and deserve.
