Help Provide Essential Detergents for Shelters
This funding campaign to raise money for providing detergents to internally displaced people in Lebanon is vital for several reasons. The ongoing crisis has forced thousands of families to abandon their homes, leaving them without basic necessities for maintaining hygiene and health. In crowded and often unsanitary living conditions, the lack of access to proper cleaning supplies increases the risk of disease outbreaks, especially among vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems. Currently, we are helping more than 35 shelters across Aley and Chouf Districts, where access to basic hygiene items is essential but limited. Detergents play a crucial role in preventing infections and promoting dignity by allowing displaced individuals to maintain personal and living space hygiene, which is fundamental for their physical and mental well-being. By supporting this campaign, donors can directly contribute to improving the quality of life and safety for those affected by displacement in Lebanon, helping them cope with daily challenges in an already difficult situation. تعدّ حملة جمع التبرعات لتوفير المنظفات للنازحين داخليًا في لبنان مهمة لعدة أسباب. لقد أجبرت الأزمة المستمرة آلاف العائلات على مغادرة منازلهم، مما تركهم دون الاحتياجات الأساسية للحفاظ على النظافة والصحة. في ظل ظروف العيش المكتظة وغالبًا غير الصحية، يؤدي نقص المواد الأساسية للتنظيف إلى زيادة خطر انتشار الأمراض، خاصة بين الفئات الضعيفة مثل الأطفال وكبار السن والأشخاص ذوي المناعة الضعيفة. حاليًا، نقدم الدعم لأكثر من 35 ملجأً في منطقتي عاليه والشوف، حيث أن الوصول إلى مستلزمات النظافة الأساسية ضروري ولكنه محدود. تلعب المنظفات دورًا حيويًا في الوقاية من العدوى وتعزيز الكرامة من خلال تمكين الأفراد النازحين من الحفاظ على النظافة الشخصية ونظافة أماكن معيشتهم، وهو أمر أساسي لسلامتهم الجسدية والنفسية. بدعمكم لهذه الحملة، يمكنكم المساهمة بشكل مباشر في تحسين جودة حياة وسلامة الأشخاص المتضررين من النزوح في لبنان، ومساعدتهم على مواجهة التحديات اليومية في ظل هذه الظروف الصعبة.

We shared what we had, will always do ... Until there is nothing enough to be shared” Boutros a vulnerable Lebanese hosting a displaced family. In the midst of Lebanon's most devastating humanitarian crisis, 1.2 million people have been forced to flee their homes, leaving behind their livelihoods and communities. With an overwhelmed healthcare system, soaring food insecurity, and rising prices, countless Lebanese families are struggling to access even the basics—food, medicine, and hygiene essentials. However, the host communities that CHREEK already serves are among the poorest in Lebanon and are themselves in a state of critical need. Many of these communities are facing severe poverty, with scarce resources now stretched beyond their limits as they work to accommodate and support displaced families. Our priority is to bring urgent assistance not only to the displaced but also to the hosting communities who are bearing the brunt of this crisis. Without immediate support, both groups face worsening shortages in essential resources, putting lives at risk and straining an already fragile social fabric. Now, we are unable to do neon work at this time due to the ongoing bombing and displacement across Lebanon. We are offering our services instead in support of the humanitarian aid of the injured and displaced community in Lebanon. Boom Neon Craft is a provider of Neon art to the community of Lebanon.
