Help evacuate my family from Gaza

Emergency

Help evacuate my family from Gaza
I am reaching out to you today with an urgent plea for help. My name is Ahmed Hammad, and I arrived in Germany approximately four months ago, I left my home in Gaza two years ago. In recent months, my family in Gaza as all families in that strip has experienced unimaginable horrors that have deeply shaken me and necessitated this appeal. They live near the police station that was destroyed by an Israeli bombing raid in December2023. Tewnty family members- my family and relatives displaced from the north of Gaza- were inside when the bomb struck. The horror they felt in that momment was indescribable, all widows in my house were smashed ,doors were broken and even walls were cracked .some of my family were injured they left the house and displaced to a safe place. The truth is there aren't any safe places in Gaza ,but to stay in that house after that attack leads to loosing their lives It was a miracle that twenty family members survived, But mere survival is not enough, as they are now suffering under extremely difficult conditions. They have no access to food, water, healthcare, or medication. They have no shelter, and the situation is becoming increasingly dangerous as there are no safe places in Gaza. My hope now is to rescue them from that danger by leaving Gaza to another countrey ,but it costs alot .every member needs 7000$ to be able to cross the border to Egypt as atravel coordination . I cannot bear the thought of losing them and being alone in this universe. In addition I don't have that amount of money to pay for 8 nembers who are my family .I implore you from the bottom of my heart to show your support in these hard times

Stand with Lebanon - Support our Emergency Work
Lebanon is facing another devastating humanitarian crisis as Israeli attacks have led to the displacement of up to 1.2 million people, including entire families with women and children, causing significant damage and hardship for them. Civilians are struggling with displacement, loss of livelihood, and a lack of basic necessities, leaving them in urgent need of support. Lebanon is also the Arab region’s most vibrant cultural hub and it is important to maintain its cultural identity and the livelihoods associated with cultural production. What We Want to Do In response, Action for Hope and Ettijahat - Independent Culture are launching this campaign to raise 50,000 EUR. With your help, we aim to: - Provide Essential Aid: Distribute food, clothes, household items and hygiene packages to 200 families in 2 displaced communities directly impacted by the attacks, ensuring they receive the basic support they need during this critical time. - Organise Cultural Relief Convoys: Set up creative and cultural events in 2 displaced communities to support the psychosocial well-being of those affected, especially children. These activities will offer safe spaces for expression, healing, and community connection, helping individuals and families cope with the trauma they are experiencing. - Support Artists and Cultural Workers: We recognize that artists and cultural workers play a vital role in times of crisis. Part of the funds will be directed to support 50 local artists and cultural practitioners who have been affected or displaced. By providing them with the resources and spaces they need to continue their work, we aim to empower them to contribute to their communities through creative expression, storytelling, and cultural resilience. About Us Action for Hope and Ettijahat - Independent Culture are two cultural organisations dedicated to supporting marginalised and vulnerable communities in the Arab region. We have a strong track record of working with people in distressed and crisis situations, including emergencies in Gaza, Sudan and Syria, offering both immediate cultural relief and long-term cultural initiatives that help communities rebuild and thrive. We believe that providing essential support, along with cultural and artistic activities, can significantly improve the well-being and resilience of displaced families and individuals. Why We Need Your Support This campaign will allow us to reach hundreds of people in Lebanon who urgently need assistance. Your contributions will directly fund the distribution of aid packages, the organisation of cultural activities and the support to cultural practitioners, helping communities not only survive but find hope and strength through connection and creativity. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Together, we can bring relief and hope to those most affected by this crisis. Examples of what your support can do: $50 food for one family of 6 members for 2 days $100 household items, blankets, and hygiene products for one family $200 a small cultural event for children $500 a livelihood grant for an artist for one month Thank you for your support!

HELP SUPPORT DISPLACED FAMILIES AND ANIMALS IN LEB

HELP SUPPORT DISPLACED FAMILIES AND ANIMALS IN LEB
The Sadaqa Team is a community-led initiative run by 8 Lebanese friends who have taken helping their country into their own hands. In a time when we were alone, we united to do the best we could to make this scary time easier for some people. It was our duty as Lebanese civilians. Some of the initiatives we helped: • We helped provide 4 schools sheltering displaced families with hundreds of mattresses, pillows, blankets, and other basic necessities. • We helped 10 displaced families settle into new homes where nothing was provided. We provided them with essentials such as food, diapers, hygiene products, and monetary aid. • We donated to 3 dog shelters that operate in the South of Lebanon in war zones and who’s owners are still working on helping, rescuing and sheltering animals. We are constantly working on providing these shelters with money to cover any cost and mainly an operation for an injured animal coming from the bombings, and buying bags of food. • We donated funds to a running kitchen in the South of Lebanon that cooks daily to provide meals to displaced families in homes and on the streets. So far, we have helped cook 300 meals. • We are working towards donating funds to shelters that are helping Syrian and migrant workers who have been rejected from many shelters. • We are also donating some funds to a community-led kitchen in Gaza called The Sanabel Team. We have worked to help them operate many times. To this day, we have fundraised to reach a target of 8,000 USD dollars with the support of the international community around the world. But we are asking for your help. Without your donations, we wouldn’t be able to continue doing the work we started and providing aid to displaced families and animals. Our team is working very hard to help a wide range of communities that are in need of support. It is our duty as Lebanese and as the international community to show our solidarity by donating what we can and doing what we can to support our people in this brutal war.
