My name is Lama, and my sister’s name is Aya. We are two girls from a humble Lebanese family who decided to start something from nothing… with our own hands. We began with just a small table under our home, and a saj. No shop, no capital… just passion, hard work, and the belief that good, honest food speaks for itself. We made traditional Lebanese kaak and saj… Simple, clean, and made with love. People started to come… not because we were extraordinary, but because we were real. Our profit was very small… around $0.10 to $0.15 per item, but for us, it meant progress. It meant hope. It meant a dream slowly growing. With time, we added more items and tried to expand, but the situation in Lebanon became harder… and business declined. Today, our dream is simple: We want a small shop, in a safer area, where we can continue what we started. We’re not saying we deserve more than anyone else… but maybe our dream deserves a chance. Maybe… even one dollar from you can make a difference. Maybe it can help turn this dream into reality.

Help Utty and Fahreza Through This Tough Time
I'm sharing Fahreza's story because the struggles of this little boy and his mother, Utty, are truly extraordinary. When Fahreza was just 12 years old, Utty received devastating news that no parent is ever prepared to hear. Fahreza was involved in a hit-and-run and was told that his knees and legs were severely injured. And for the first time in a long time, Utty wasn't just fighting for her son's survival—she watched her beloved son lie weak with a shattered right leg and a fractured spine. Utty cried every day watching her son struggle with excruciating pain. Treatment efforts included three leg surgeries and two more spinal surgeries. Now, the once cheerful boy lies weak. Despite financial constraints, Utty continues to fight, doing everything she can to ensure her son's recovery. As a single mother, full-time caregiver, and full-time worker, the emotional and financial burden Utty bears is unimaginable. The significant costs of medical travel—treatment, accommodation, specialized care, and ongoing support—are simply beyond their means to cover alone. The family now needs to raise $19,000 to make this next cycle of treatment possible. The funds raised will go directly to Fahreza's care, medical travel, flights, accommodation, specialized equipment, and the daily care costs needed to support him throughout this journey. I know so many people will read Rick's story and be inspired by the courage, resilience, and hope this little boy carries with him every day. If you can help in any way—through a donation, sharing this page, or simply praying for Fahreza and Utty—it would mean so much. Thank you for supporting Fahreza and his family as they continue to fight for more time, more memories, and more life together.

Help us to buy a home for the family

Help us to buy a home for the family
Help My Family Find a Home Again After Losing Everything in Gaza There are moments in life that change everything forever. For my family, that moment came when the war in Gaza took away the place we called home. The house where our children laughed, played, and dreamed about their future is gone. The walls that protected us, the rooms filled with memories, and the small comforts of everyday life disappeared in an instant. Today, we are living with the pain of loss and the uncertainty of what comes next. As parents, the hardest part is not losing possessions—it is seeing the fear in our children’s eyes and being unable to give them the security every child deserves. Every night, we dream of something many people take for granted: a safe place to sleep, a door to close behind us, and a home where our family can begin to heal. We are asking for your help to rebuild what war has taken from us. Our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase a modest home where we can start over and rebuild our lives with dignity and hope. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to that goal. Every share of this campaign gives our story the chance to reach someone who may be able to help. Your kindness will not simply buy bricks and walls. It will give a family safety. It will give children stability. It will give us the opportunity to believe in tomorrow again. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing our campaign with others. Your support, prayers, and compassion mean more to us than words can express. From our family to yours, thank you for standing with us during the darkest chapter of our lives and helping us find our way home again. With gratitude and hope, Hashem Ghannam and Family
