have a dream of buying my own car.
I am a forty-three year old living in Sri Lanka. I have been waiting for a long time to buy my own car. But I have not been able to do so yet.The reason for this is that the salary I currently receive is not enough for that. Also, I am currently suffering from kidney disease. Before my life ends, I really want to travel in my own car.I don't have to give you anything in return for helping me with this. But I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope that you will help me make all of your lives happy and healthy...! God Bless you...!

Our Dream – A Home plzz
Hello! We are Chathu and Supun, a newly married couple just beginning our journey together in life. More than anything, our biggest dream is to build a small, safe, and peaceful home of our own — a place where we can start our life together with love and stability. Unfortunately, due to our current financial situation, it’s incredibly difficult for us to achieve this on our own. We’re not dreaming of something big or luxurious — just a simple, cozy space we can call our own. A small home filled with warmth, peace, and the love we share. 🔸 Our fundraising goal: USD 2000 🔸 Purpose: To build a small, secure house as our first home. With your help, we believe we can make this dream a reality. Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference in our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support! With love, Chathu & Supun

Find out the cost of medicine
This is my brother's wife. The doctors say she has a stone in her stomach. He is now admitted to the hospital, receiving treatment to help him recover quickly. He is in a lot of pain because of this, I would like you to ask God to make him suffer more. Some things like medicine cost a lot, and it's very difficult to pay for them, because we are poor. I ask you to help us with even a small amount of money, God bless you. My Sri lanka BOC account number 86798279

My Son’s Life is in Danger – Your Help is Urgently
I am Iresha Sewwandi, the mother of Sithum Sathsara, an 8-year-old boy who is fighting for his life. My son is suffering from a severe brain tumor, and despite undergoing two surgeries at Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, he still needs immediate radiation therapy to survive. The doctors have advised that without this treatment, his condition will worsen. Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming number of patients at government hospitals, getting prompt treatment has become a challenge. Therefore, we need to raise LKR 2,000,000 to provide him with immediate treatment at a private hospital. We have already spent everything we had on his medical expenses, and our financial situation is now critical. As his mother, I am humbly asking for your support to save my son’s life. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference. Please help us give Sithum Sathsara a chance to live. We are deeply grateful for any support you can provide. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Rebuilding Sri Lanka one family at a time

Rebuilding Sri Lanka one family at a time
UPDATE: The My Pace or Yours team (Tharu , Kavi , Dinu and Dev) is participating in the Spitfire Scramble, a 24-hour multi-terrain relay race, to continue fundraising for Ani Nilavan Puvanesan and his outreach school in Sri Lanka. If you have caught news re Sri Lanka recently, it will probably have been about the political instability, the protests, the ban on buying/selling petrol, the daily power cuts, inflation running at 50% and the mass exodus of the youth. It is indeed a very difficult time for the country. However, Ani Nilavan and his team are hanging in there - still providing lessons for students and even expanding their services to poor and marginalized communities in the province. One of these activities is supporting entrepreneurs in rural villages, working with organizations such as the Centre for Peacebuilding and Reconciliation (CPBR) to help rebuild Sri Lanka one family at a time. Spitfire: https://www.spitfirescramble.co.uk ORIGINAL POST: Hi. I'm Tharusha Denuwan. I am hoping to raise money for ibridge, an educational facility in Mullaitivu, Sri Lanka. ibridge is improving the work-readiness of local youth in an area heavily affected by civil war and where youth unemployment rates are above 30%. By running courses in English, IT and entrepreneurship, ibridge provides 16-23 year olds additional qualifications and skills to help them to enter the workforce. Ani Nilavan Puvanesan (22), started the school last year. After providing support to 200+ students, ibridge is now relocating from the local community hall to a dedicated premises with two classrooms and a potential library/IT suite. The team has been preparing the new premises (see pictures of them painting) to open this month, but a national covid lockdown has thwarted that timeline. They are taking advantage of this forced delay by building partnerships, further developing their curriculum and spreading the word. The delay has however led to a shortfall in funds. I have been working with Ani Nilavan for the past few months and have been incredibly impressed by his desire to make the world a fairer place and his ability to get things done. A true change-maker. I am therefore trying to help from afar by raising funds to cover his shortfall. We forecast that LKR 3 000 000 (approx. $10,000) would bridge the team to a new opening date in January 2022. Any small amount you could donate to that total would assist Ani Nilavan and his team greatly in reducing poverty, reducing inequality and empowering young people. Thank you ...

Vehicle Loan Help to pay

Vehicle Loan Help to pay
My name is Geetha Kumara, and I am a retired army soldier from Sri Lanka. I live with my wife and our two children. For years, we survived on the income from a small business I started when I was young. I ran it successfully for 5 years, until the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 forced me to close for over a year. I had started my business with a LKR 1,000,000 bank loan, using my car as collateral. From my profits, I managed to repay LKR 600,000, but due to the pandemic’s impact, I am now left with an outstanding LKR 400,000. My pension is only LKR 30,000 per month, but my monthly loan payment is LKR 100,000 leaving my family with nothing to live on. We are struggling to afford food, utilities, and school expenses for our children. Your kind support could help me repay the remaining loan, keep our family safe, and rebuild our livelihood. Any amount, big or small, would make a huge difference in our lives. Please help us in this difficult time.
