My name is Mahdi, and until recently, I was a student. Like many young people, my life was centered around my family, my home, and my dream of graduating with a degree in Ai Engineering. On Oct,2024, everything changed. The war reached our doorstep, and in an instant, we lost the home where I grew up and every possession we worked for. We didn't just lose walls and a roof; we lost our safety and our stability. leaving my future in total limbo. I am raising funds to continue my education abroad. I refuse to let this conflict be the end of my story. My goal is to transfer to a university in Germany where I can finish my degree and eventually use my skills to help rebuild my community. Support George Ostrowski’s Fight Against Cancer George Ostrowski is a beloved husband, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, son, history teacher, coach, and friend. To know George is to love him—he’s a wonderful, sweet, generous, and kind soul with a heart as big as his appetite (and trust us, that’s saying something!). He’s touched so many lives with his warmth and spirit, especially those lucky enough to call him family or friend. Recently, George—my sister’s husband and my incredible brother-in-law—received a devastating diagnosis: Advanced Stage Hodgkins Lymphoma. At just the start of their married life, fresh off their honeymoon, George and my sister now face a challenging road ahead. For the next six months, George will undergo intensive treatments, each requiring a long journey. Unable to work during this time, he’s determined to push through with his trademark resilience. But this battle comes with heavy financial burdens: medical treatments, transportation, food, housing, cleaning and pet care to name a few. That’s where we need your help. The project “Educational Support for Underprivileged Children” by Gram Sewa Sangh Nagpur aims to provide equitable access to quality education for children from slum, rural, and tribal communities. The initiative includes distribution of school kits, uniforms, learning materials, remedial education support, and awareness sessions for parents to encourage regular school attendance and reduce dropout rates. It focuses on creating a child-friendly and inclusive learning environment that promotes holistic development. Through this project, approximately 250 underprivileged children (along with their families) will directly benefit, improving their educational continuity, confidence, and future opportunities for a better livelihood.
