A Simple Vehicle Can Save Our Small Business

Business

A Simple Vehicle Can Save Our Small Business
A Simple Vehicle Can Save Our Small Business and Our Family’s Future Hello, My name is Sudarma, and I am a small business owner fighting every single day to keep my dream — and my family’s livelihood — alive. This business is not just a source of income for us. It is our only hope for stability. It is what puts food on our table and keeps our future from falling apart. I started with almost nothing — just determination, long hours, and the belief that hard work would eventually create a better life. But today, we are facing a challenge that is slowly breaking us: we do not have a vehicle. Without transportation: We struggle to deliver products on time We lose customers because of delays We pay high transport fees that eat up our small profits Some days, after working tirelessly, we are left with almost nothing There have been moments when I’ve questioned how much longer we can survive like this. Watching opportunities slip away simply because we cannot afford a basic vehicle is heartbreaking. We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for a simple vehicle that can keep our business running. A vehicle would mean: Reliable deliveries Lower operating costs More customers and expanded reach Stability for my family A chance to grow instead of just survive Right now, I cannot afford this on my own. It is incredibly difficult to ask for help, but sometimes strength means admitting you cannot do everything alone. Any contribution — no matter how small — would bring us closer to saving our business and protecting our family’s future. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story would mean more than you know. Your kindness could truly change our lives. Give Light to My Son’s Future

Education

Give Light to My Son’s Future
I am a parent from a low-income family. We are a family that works hard every day just to meet our basic needs. Despite our financial struggles, my son is a highly motivated and dedicated student. His biggest dream is to receive a good education, secure a stable job, and improve our family’s financial situation in the future. At present, most of his schoolwork, assignments, projects, and research activities are conducted online. To complete these tasks properly and on time, a laptop has become essential. However, due to our current financial difficulties, we are unable to afford such a device. Without a laptop, he has to borrow from friends, visit internet cafés, or rely only on a mobile phone to complete his work. This has become a serious obstacle to his education. There have been times when he was unable to submit assignments on time, leaving him feeling helpless and discouraged. In those moments, he feels sadness and fear about his future. If he had a laptop, he would be able to: Complete schoolwork and assignments on time. Attend online classes and educational programs. Develop IT and computer skills. Prepare for higher education and his future career. We are hoping to raise a small amount to purchase a basic student laptop. Even a small contribution—such as LKR 500 or LKR 1000—can make a significant difference in his life. Your support means more to us than just financial assistance. It is a gift of hope that will help keep my son’s dreams alive and bring light to his future. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign. That alone would be a great help to us. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, support, and trust. ❤️

Help the artist’s family SHROUQ from genocide
Hello everybody My name is Doaa Qeshta, from Gaza, Palestine. I currently live in France. I have created this campaign to support my friend Shrouq Alsududi and her family during this extremely difficult time. Shrouq’s Story “My name is Shrouq Alsududi, I am 29 years old, and I am a visual artist who studied Fine Arts at the Community College in Gaza. I live with my four young children: Samira (6), Mira (3), Amira (2), and Mayar (1). I have already faced unimaginable hardships. During the first wave of displacement in Gaza, I had to flee south with my children, while my husband went missing in the tragic Al-Tahini massacre on September 21, 2024. I am still searching for him, hoping for news of his whereabouts. After my husband went missing, my father—who had become our main provider—was killed on September 28, 2025, leaving us without any immediate support. Today, my children and I live in a small tent, exposed to the harsh winter cold, rain, and very difficult living conditions. Every day is a struggle to survive, and as a mother, I do everything I can to protect my children. But the challenges are overwhelming, and we urgently need support to endure this harsh reality.” Thank you, Doaa
