Help a widow and her kids
My sister and I decided to start this campaign in the hope of giving our mother some support during an incredibly difficult time in our lives.
Our mom is unable to work, not because she doesn’t want to, but because she does not have Lebanese nationality and does not speak Arabic fluently, which makes finding a job almost impossible.
Two years ago, we lost our father after a painful battle with ALS. His passing left not only an emotional void in our hearts, but also a heavy financial burden that we have been struggling to carry on our own.
The income I earn is very small and barely covers a portion of our basic needs, such as food, rent, and school expenses.
On top of that, the house we live in is filled with dampness and humidity, which has caused constant allergies and skin problems, making our living conditions even harder.
Through this campaign, we are simply trying to create a safer, more stable life for our mother and our family, and any support no matter how small would mean more to us than words can express.

قرّرنا، أنا وأختي، إطلاق هذه الحملة على أمل أن نتمكّن من تقديم بعض الدعم لوالدتنا في هذه المرحلة الصعبة جدًا من حياتنا.
والدتنا غير قادرة على العمل، ليس لأنها لا تريد ذلك، بل لأنها لا تحمل الجنسية اللبنانية ولا تتقن اللغة العربية بطلاقة، مما يجعل إيجاد فرصة عمل أمرًا شبه مستحيل.
منذ سنتين، فقدنا والدنا بعد صراع مؤلم مع مرض التصلّب الجانبي الضموري (ALS). ترك رحيله فراغًا كبيرًا في قلوبنا، كما وضع على عاتقنا عبئًا ماديًا ثقيلًا نحاول تحمّله وحدنا.
الدخل الذي أحقّقه محدود جدًا ولا يكاد يكفي لتغطية جزء من احتياجاتنا الأساسية، مثل الطعام، الإيجار، ومصاريف المدرسة.
وفوق كل ذلك، فإن المنزل الذي نعيش فيه يعاني من رطوبة شديدة، ما تسبّب لنا بحالات حساسية ومشاكل جلدية مستمرة، وجعل ظروف عيشنا أكثر صعوبة.
من خلال هذه الحملة، نحاول فقط تأمين حياة أكثر أمانًا واستقرارًا لوالدتنا ولعائلتنا، وأي دعم، مهما كان بسيطًا، سيعني لنا الكثير ويفوق قدرتنا على التعبير بالكلمات
