Help Me Continue My Education After Losing Every
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this message with a heavy heart and a humble request for support in continuing my education. My family lost everything when the recent severe storm completely destroyed our home and property. Since that day, our lives have changed dramatically, and we have been struggling to recover. Although we have been waiting for government compensation, we have not received any assistance so far. The financial hardship caused by this disaster has made it extremely difficult for me to continue my studies. My father, who worked tirelessly selling snacks on the roadside to support our family and my education, has become seriously unwell due to the stress and worry brought on by our situation. As a result, our family's income has been severely affected. There are days when we struggle to afford even our basic needs, including food. It has become increasingly difficult to pay for educational expenses such as school supplies, learning materials, transportation, internet access, and other costs necessary for my studies. Despite these challenges, I remain determined to continue my education and build a better future for myself and my family. However, without financial assistance, I fear that my educational goals may become impossible to achieve. I sincerely ask for your kindness and support in helping me continue my studies during this difficult period. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a significant difference in my life and help me stay focused on my education. Your generosity would not only support my learning but also give hope to a family that is struggling to rebuild after a devastating loss. I would be deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and consider my request. Sincerely, Vihanga

Diploma on hold, help Deborah access it.
I finished the degree. I just couldn’t walk across the stage. My name is Deborah Bowa. In 2024 I completed every class, every exam, and every field placement for my Diploma in Social Work at Evelyn College. I did the work. I passed. But when graduation day came, I had to watch from the sidelines because I still owed a balance of $1500 on my tuition. For 3 years I showed up. I worked with real families during field placement. I stayed up late studying case management while working part-time to cover what I could. I’m not asking because I quit — I’m asking because I finished, and now the last bill is the only thing stopping me from holding the diploma I earned. Without that diploma, Evelyn College can’t release my transcript. That means I can’t get licensed, can’t apply for social work jobs, and can’t start doing the work I trained for: helping kids in crisis, supporting families, and being someone’s advocate when they need it most. Your gift does 2 things: 1. It pays off the balance so Evelyn College releases my diploma. 2. It puts a trained Social Worker into the community — someone ready to serve right now. Once it’s paid, my diploma is released and I can finally start the career I’ve worked years for. I’m not looking for a handout. I’m asking for a hand up to close the last chapter. Every dollar and every share gets me closer to the stage I missed in 2024. Thank you for believing in second chances .
