Support for Education and Laptop for Online Work
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is P.Achintha Nikil Fernando, I am 22 years old, and I currently live in Seeduwa, Sri Lanka. I am a student, pursuing my A1 German course at the Goethe Institute in Sri Lanka as part of my goal to enroll in an Ausbildun (Vocational training program )program in Germany.
However, I am currently facing serious financial difficulties that are making it extremely challenging for me to continue my education smoothly. I do not have strong formal educational qualifications because my parents were unable to afford higher-level education for me. My father is elderly and physically weak, and he is unable to work effectively. My mother runs a small mushroom business, which supports our family, but the income is very limited.
Because of my limited education, I cannot secure a stable, well-paying job in Sri Lanka. Previously, I worked part-time in small supermarkets, local restaurants, and factories, but since January 26, when I began my German course, it has become impossible for me to continue these jobs. The course schedule requires my attendance five days a week, and I must travel 30 kilometers by bus each way from Seeduwa to Colombo, totaling 60 kilometers daily, which incurs significant transportation costs. In addition, expenses for food and course materials add further financial pressure.
Furthermore, progressing to higher German courses such as A2 and B1 for my exams and studies will require even greater financial resources, which I simply cannot afford. My parents are unable to provide financial support due to their limited income and personal circumstances.
Given my situation, I am seeking the possibility of online work to support my education and living expenses. However, to pursue such opportunities, I urgently require a laptop computer, which I currently cannot afford. I have borrowed small amounts from neighbors and friends to manage some expenses, but it is insufficient to cover both my education and necessary tools for online work.
I sincerely request your understanding and compassion regarding my circumstances. I have never imagined asking for financial help from others, but my current situation is extremely difficult. Any support, however small, would make a significant difference in my ability to continue my education and move toward my goal of completing the Ausbildung program in Germany.
I want to emphasize that:
Part-time work is impossible for me due to the time and travel required for my education.
Online work is essential for me to earn income while continuing my studies.
A laptop is a critical tool that will allow me to access online work opportunities and continue my education efficiently.
I kindly ask you to consider my situation and provide support in any way possible. Your help would not only relieve my financial difficulties but also allow me to pursue my educational and career aspirations.
