Douma Club is a non- profit organization driven by its mission to enhance cultural, educational and athletics programs in our beautiful village of Douma- Lebanon. Over the years, Douma Club has worked tirelessly to offer diverse activities to promote health, wellbeing and build strong ties between our local Doumanian community and neighboring villages . The Club plays an essential role in providing facilities, activities and programs for our community, and without the needed funds these critical services will be impacted and we will struggle to support our community. Given the severe economic and financial hardship that our beloved country is facing, it is time to take action in support to our local community & stand by grassroots initiatives like our Douma Club. So if you are in the position to support, we invite you to breathe back life into the Club by offering your financial contributions and donations, big or small, to ensure that Douma Club will continue to fulfill its mission. The funds will be used to revive the theatre which dates from more than a 100 years ago, the maintenance of the kids playground, the organization of a summer camp and the setting up of a sports academy. Spark is a group of youth with a big heart, aiming to spark hope all the way during these hard times. Five years ago we started out supporting 30 families with their basic needs, and last year we reached over 150 families all over Lebanon. This year our Christmas mission, reflects Spark's benevolence. Our main target is to reach out & stand by those who were less fortunate during this tough year. The name of our mission “Sparkle All The Way” was chosen, as we will be initiating several mini-missions and supporting the community all the way!! 1- Distributing food boxes, hygiene kits and medications to 200 families in Beirut, Baabda, Metn, Jbeil and Kesserwen districts. 2- Spreading Joy among children by providing 100 Gifts to fulfill their wishes from Santa. 3- Going the “Extra Mile”: supporting families with additional basic needs from rent fees, school tuition, home supplies… 4- Delivering over 400 hot meals prepared by volunteering mothers to the homeless, security guards and night shifts workers during December weekends. With your smallest contribution, we can sparkle all the way!

Hello! My friend Garo Meguerdichian’s car (Kia Cerrato) was stolen on the 8th of August from under his house in Burj Hammoud. Given the current situation it is highly unlikely that the car will be recovered. Given the current economic crisis (high cost of living, USD/LBP exchange rate, low salaries..) he does not have the luxury to purchase another car and is in desperate need of one to go on with his job that requires a car on daily basis.
