I NEED HELP FOR ME AND MY FAMILY
Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Thajudeen Rausdeen. I am 49 years old and from Sri Lanka. For the past 22 years, I have been happily married, and together we are blessed with four beautiful children—three girls and one boy. 💔 From Stability to Sudden Crisis Before the pandemic, I worked hard in Dubai to provide a stable life for my family. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, I lost my job, forcing us to return to Sri Lanka. Determined to survive, I started a small business to support my family. Then, disaster struck. I was involved in a severe street accident that completely shattered my left leg. I underwent major surgery at the Kandy Government Hospital and was confined to strict bed rest for eight agonizing months. I lost my ability to work, and my small business collapsed. 🌊 Compounding Natural Disasters Just as we were trying to recover from the medical crisis, severe flooding hit Sri Lanka. The floods destroyed our remaining business stock. To survive, I had to spend every last rupee of my savings on urgent medical care, prescriptions, and basic food for my family. 🏠 The Urgent Burden Today Today, I have absolutely no source of income. We live in a rented house that costs LKR 40,000 per month, and we are now 4 months behind on rent. Because of this financial ruin, I have also been unable to pay my children's school fees for the last 4 months. My children are facing the risk of losing their education, and we face immediate eviction. 🎯 Our Target Goal: $25,000 USD I am reaching out to the global community on Give.Asia to raise $25,000 USD to completely rebuild our lives from scratch. I possess all official medical reports, hospital documents, and bills as evidence of our situation. Your generous donations will be used directly to: • Clear unpaid rent (LKR 160,000) to prevent my family from becoming homeless. • Pay school fees to send my four children back to their classrooms immediately. • Cover ongoing medical costs for my injured leg. • Provide seed capital to start a small, sustainable job or business so I can feed my family independently. • Build a modest, safe home for my family so we never have to worry about rent or eviction again. • Option 1 (Emotional): "After a horrific accident shattered my leg and floods destroyed our livelihood, my family faces eviction and my 4 kids cannot attend school. Please help us raise $25,000 to clear rent, return to school, and build a safe home." • • Option 2 (Urgent): "A father of four in Sri Lanka needs your help to rebuild from scratch. Plagued by severe medical bills from a broken leg and total flood damage, your donation covers vital rent, school fees, and basic shelter." • "Our household belongings and business assets destroyed, piled outside our flooded home in Sri Lanka while emergency vehicles pass by." Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity. You are not just donating; you are saving my family's future. With deep gratitude, Thajudeen Rausdeen.

Want to build a house

Want to build a house
I am Priyantha Ekanayaka from Agalak Watta. At present, I live in a small temporary tin house. My dream is to own a beautiful and comfortable home for my family. Like many people in Sri Lanka, I also wish to have a safe and stable place to live. A house is not only a building made of walls and a roof; it is a place that gives protection, comfort, peace, and hope for a better future. However, buying or building a house is very difficult for a person who has little or no money. The prices of land and houses in Sri Lanka are increasing day by day. At the same time, low salaries and the high cost of living make it almost impossible for poor families to own a decent house. Even though I work hard and try my best, my financial situation does not allow me to achieve this dream easily. I kindly request help and support to make my dream of owning a house come true. I have already tried applying for housing loans and government housing programs in Sri Lanka, but unfortunately, I could not receive assistance. Most loan schemes require high interest rates, large down payments, and short repayment periods, which are very difficult for low-income families like mine. Because of this, many poor people continue to struggle without proper housing. I understand that starting with a small and affordable house is more realistic than expecting a large and expensive home immediately. Even a simple house with basic facilities would mean a lot to me and my family. In the future, with hard work and better financial stability, I hope to improve and expand the house little by little. I believe that a small home filled with love and security is more valuable than waiting forever for a perfect house. Support from kind-hearted people, organizations, friends, and society can make a huge difference in someone’s life. Financial assistance, advice, or any kind of support would help me move closer to achieving this important goal. I am ready to continue working hard with patience and determination to provide a better life for my family. A house is not just a building. To me, it represents

Support My Family’s Future & Sister’s Education
I have a dream of building a home of my own. My mother, who was perfectly healthy, suddenly fell ill with an unexpected fever. She was admitted to the General Hospital and stayed there for twenty days, but the doctors couldn't identify the cause of the fever. I worked tirelessly and did everything humanly possible to save her life, but right before my eyes, I felt my entire future crumbling away. I feel lost and helpless. My mother’s passing has affected my little sister even more deeply than it has affected me. I don’t know how I could ever endure such helplessness again. Now, I only have my father and my sister left. I want to protect them from any further hardship or distress; I cannot let my father suffer that pain again. My sister is currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering at the Open University. There are 3.5 years left to complete it, and it costs about $400 a month. Up until now, I have sacrificed everything—even my own meals—to ensure those payments were made on time. After my mother left us, it felt as though my entire world had collapsed. My greatest priority now is to take care of my father and sister, keep them healthy, build a roof over our heads, and ensure my sister’s education isn't interrupted so she can achieve her dreams. I would be immensely grateful for any support you could provide to help me achieve these goals. May you be blessed for your kindness. 🙏

I want to get my life back and live my life with m

I want to get my life back and live my life with m
Hello Everyone, My name is Pratik. I am 31 years old and currently working as an SDR to support myself and my family. I come from a hardworking family background, and throughout my life I have always tried to help others whenever I could, even during difficult times. Unfortunately, the last few years have been extremely challenging for me and my family. My father battled heart disease and cancer for nearly 22 years, and during that time, our entire family savings were exhausted on medical treatments and hospital expenses. Shortly after, I lost my job and was left with almost nothing financially. During that difficult period, I went through severe emotional stress, family crises, anxiety, and depression. In one of the darkest phases of my life, I completely lost hope and even attempted to end my life. I came dangerously close to losing everything, but when I saw the pain and helplessness in my parents’ eyes, I realized that giving up could never be an option. That moment changed something inside me. I decided that no matter how difficult life became, I had to keep fighting for the people who loved and depended on me. In a very weak phase emotionally, I turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism, which badly affected my health and damaged my liver. I was hospitalized and bedridden for almost a year, during which I had no income at all. Just as I started recovering physically and rebuilding my life, I faced another heartbreaking situation when my marriage fell apart after discovering infidelity. Soon after that, I lost my father, and within a month my mother met with a serious accident that required a hip replacement surgery. Around the same time, I also realized that I had been financially cheated by a few people I trusted deeply. Despite everything, life gave me hope again when I met someone who stood beside me during my darkest moments. She supported me emotionally, encouraged me to rebuild myself, and gave me strength when I had almost given up. We planned to get married, but the financial pressure, debts, and constant harassment from lenders created immense stress in our lives. Recently, we had to separate, and it has been one of the hardest experiences I have ever faced. Today, I live with my mother and continue to work hard every day, but I am still drowning in debt. My greatest wish is to rebuild my life, clear these financial burdens, take care of my mother properly, and become stable enough to bring happiness and security back into my life and the life of the person I love. I have never been someone who easily asks for help. I always believed in solving my own problems and working my way through hardship. But after years of setbacks, medical emergencies, emotional loss, and financial struggles, I have reached a point where I genuinely cannot do this alone anymore. Why I Need Your Help The purpose of this fundraiser is to help me reduce the debts and financial burdens that have accumulated over the years due to medical emergencies, unemployment, and survival expenses. I am currently employed, but most of my monthly salary goes directly toward loan repayments and minimum payments, leaving very little for basic living expenses and my mother’s care. My monthly income is approximately $1200 and I take a few extra work to meet my ends but that income is very unsure as I might get extra work sometimes and sometime not, and despite working continuously, I have been unable to escape this cycle of debt. The funds raised will help me: • Pay down urgent debts and high-interest loans • Support my mother’s medical and daily needs • Stabilize my finances and avoid further harassment from lenders • Build a basic emergency cushion for future unexpected expenses • Regain mental peace and focus on rebuilding my life responsibly This is not about luxury or comfort. It is simply about getting one fair chance to breathe again and stand on my feet with dignity. I also want to be fully transparent with everyone reading this. I may post this fundraiser on one or two additional platforms as well — not because I am trying to mislead anyone, but because I am trying to reach my goal faster and reduce the financial pressure as soon as possible. The moment I reach my required goal, I will immediately close all active campaigns. I understand that online fundraising can make people cautious, and rightly so. That is why I want to clearly say that although I may be struggling, helpless, and going through one of the worst phases of my life, I am not a liar or a fraud. I am simply someone trying very hard to survive, rebuild, and protect the little family I have left. I am also willing to provide supporting documents for the medical situations and hardships I have mentioned. How You Can Help If you are in a position to support me, no contribution is too small. Every single donation — whether it is $5, $20, or more — will bring me one step closer to stability and recovery. If you are unable to donate, I completely understand. Even sharing this fundraiser with others would mean more to me than words can express. I truly believe that if I am given this second chance, I will rebuild my life with honesty, gratitude, and purpose. One day, I hope to be in a position where I can help others who are struggling, just as I am today. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me during the most difficult phase of my life. With sincere gratitude, Pratik
