A Tiny Home, a Giant Dream for My Kids
Dear Sir / Madam,
My name is Suranga. I am writing this letter with great hope and a humble heart. I am a very poor person, and my family is going through a very difficult time. Life has never been easy for us, but now we are facing one of the biggest challenges of all – we do not have a permanent place to call home.
We live in a small, temporary shelter made from weak materials. It does not protect us properly from rain, wind, or the heat. When it rains heavily, water comes in through the roof. When it is cold, we have no way to stay warm. When it is hot, the heat becomes unbearable. This is not a safe place for children to grow up in.
I have children who mean the world to me. I want to give them a better future, a safe place to live, and a home they can feel proud of. But no matter how hard I work, I cannot earn enough money to build a permanent house for them. Every day is a struggle just to afford food and other basic needs. Saving money for a house feels like an impossible dream.
I have attached a photo of the house where we are currently living. As you can see, it is not a proper home. It is just a small shelter made of pieces we found here and there. We built it because we had no other option. We are thankful to have some kind of roof over our heads, but it is not enough. It is not what any child deserves.
I am not asking for luxury or comfort. I am only asking for your kindness to help us build a simple, strong, and safe house – a permanent home where my children can sleep peacefully at night. I believe that if my children can grow up in a stable home, they will have a better chance to study, stay healthy, and live with hope. A permanent home would bring peace and dignity to our lives.
I know there are kind and compassionate people in this world – people who care about others even if they have never met them. I am writing this letter to reach out to you, from one human being to another, with the hope that you will hear our plea and help us in this time of great need. If you help us, you will not only be building a house – you will be giving a family a new life.
The world is a beautiful place because of people like you – people who have the heart to help others without expecting anything in return. Your support could change our lives forever. I pray every day that someone kind and generous will read this letter and decide to help us.
If you are able to help us in any way – whether it is with materials, funds, or sharing our story with others – we will be forever grateful. Every little bit makes a big difference. We believe that with your help, we can give our children a better start in life and a place to call home.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Thank you for listening to my story. May God bless you and your family with peace, health, and happiness. May your kindness come back to you many times over.
With humble thanks and sincere hope,
Suranga
