Help me take the next step into my new home.
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Kind-Hearted Individuals, I am writing to humbly ask for your support as I take the next important step in building my new home, a place of safety, dignity, and belonging. I have already made progress, thanks to hard work, determination, and the help of a few generous souls. But to move forward, I now need to raise $1,0000 to complete the next phase of construction. This stage involves essential work, including roofing, walls, and basic utilities, the foundation for a livable and secure space. Without this step, my efforts so far cannot move forward. This is more than just a construction project. It’s a personal mission to create a stable and peaceful home, a place where I can live with self-respect and offer my family a better life. Every dollar raised will be used directly for materials and labor. I am not asking for anything luxurious, only what is needed to continue this journey. My dream is simple: to have a roof over my head that I can call my own, built with honesty, resilience, and the kindness of others. Life has not been easy, but I remain hopeful. I believe that with your help, I can take this next step. Whether you are able to give a small amount or simply share this message, your support means the world to me. It shows that I am not alone, that community and compassion are stronger than hardship. If you are in a position to donate, I would be deeply thankful. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to completing this goal. If you cannot give, I still appreciate your time and encouragement more than you know. This home is more than bricks and cement; it represents new beginnings, stability, and a future built on hope. With your kindness, I believe this next step can become a reality. Thank you for being part of this journey. With gratitude and hope, [Eesara]

Home possession and eviction (Buying a plot of la
Home possession and eviction (Buying a plot of land with a house to live in ) Dear Madam/Sir, Today I have come to make a request to you. I am a Sri Lankan retired from government job and after 6 years of casual service in my working life became permanent and retired after 15 years of permanent service. I had to stay unmarried and take care of my elderly and sick parents since the days of my permanent employment. Due to the severe war situation in the country at that time and the heavy work load... Staying in a rented house near the army office in Anuradhapura city where I worked so that it is easy to come and go, taking care of my parents. After my father fell ill, I rented a house near the office and took care of him and treated him there, and when my mother fell ill, I closed the house temporarily and went to clean it from time to time on holidays and took care of both of them by giving them medical treatment. When I had to go to work, I was employing workers on a daily basis to take care of both of them, spending a lot of money on hospital medical fees, transportation fees for disease treatment, the rent of rented houses which were increasing year by year, along with light water bills for 15 years. ..In order to cover the excessive expenses, I paid the salaries of the nursing staff of those who took care of the parents through bank borrowings, providing proper medical treatment, food, drinks and medicines on time, but also taking them to sacred places for regular pious activities and the last rites of the couple will be completed. I was taken care of till now and I had to devote the entire 15 years of my permanent duty period to it. Of course, I happily meditate on those blessings every moment of my life. All this was done while I was ignoring all of this despite the fact that I had a slight back injury caused by a fall in my school days. About a year after the funeral of my parents, my retirement took place and due to the aggravation of my back injury, which I had been neglecting, the date of retirement was set...from the last Corona period. Mata was receiving medical treatment under Ravana's medical system.. When there was a huge economic crisis due to heavy medical treatment expenses, I somehow got sick and was going to receive medical treatment daily and was receiving residential treatment at that doctor's medical treatment center for almost a month and after that at Clinic Masa. On several occasions. I have had to spend a period of time where I was not allowed to spend more than 45 minutes on the computer and the chair due to medical treatment. While everything was going on like this, the Kurunegala house where my mother and father were living was taken over by my brother after the death of both of them, and he arbitrarily removed me from my residence for two years. It became a death blow in the middle and time passed.. I had to take care of my parents for my duty and pay the rent in rented houses that were on fire and stay on medical treatment. Meanwhile, the village official refused to sign and hand over the pensioner's life certificate, which should be submitted to the regional secretariat office once a year to the pension department after the village officer certified that the pensioners are alive, and put me in a severe pain. By making an arrangement, I was evicted from my residence in the Kurunegala house owned by my parents and the house was completely bulldozed. I handed over to the village officer of that area and prepared the pension. During the period between these inhumane evictions, the government of this country is implementing arbitrary regimes and putting the public in a severe economic situation, raising the interest rates of bank loans to a very high level and charging taxes...water and electricity fees to a high level. They continue to increase the tax several times a year and are being subjected to harassment, and due to this, the loan installments are deducted from the salaries of all the loan customers by the bankers with high interest percentages due to the maturity of the agreed loan installments. .. I can't even pay the high water and electricity bills (Minimum cost $100) and the pension is limited to a small amount like 9000 Lanka Rupees ($30) and I am living in a very inhuman situation where I can't afford even one meal. (Overall, due to these arbitrary tax policies of the government, the ordinary poor people of Sri Lanka have suffered immensely from extreme poverty) Meanwhile, due to the heavy economic pressure in the country, I had to leave the rented house because the owners of the rented house where I was staying tried to sell the property. All other houses rent Rs. 15000/ 20000/ etc. (Between S50 – S60) Unable to pay and unable to pay light bill water bill and also unable to find time to eat. Due to the disease related to my spine and because my health condition is not suitable enough to apply for a job. I was allowed to stay in the rented house for a period of 2 months and therefore during those 2 months it is necessary for me to buy a house for myself and due to the loan amount, I tried to buy a house and a land again on the basis of a government bank loan. Since I do not have sufficient sources of income or pension to pay the premium amount, all my efforts for the long term have been futile and I have become deeply shocked and helpless. I present this appeal to you after seeing the possible websites. Avoiding all these pressures, I have to buy a land with a house before the end of the 2-month period, so if you, the philanthropist, get help from any of you, according to the Dharma of Buddhism, which I believe, it is a bodhisattva paramita that will attain Buddhahood in the future and after death you will receive eternal life. Merit will definitely become karma..so to get a land with a suitable house quickly, I need to spend the money in Sri Lankan money and the necessary expenses for living expenses, light bill, water bill in 3 months. I am expecting the quick support of a kind philanthropist to solve these problems (For perches home with land $80000) as I am living under the blame of the owners. I would like to mention that this value was mentioned after checking and studying whether the above minimum amount is currently required to buy a land with a house in rural areas without urban areas. Thank you so much..Due to financial difficulties even my phone friends are also facing difficulties of disconnection so contact is getting lost. I would be very grateful if you could help me with these issues. My details are as follows Name : Sudharshani Udukumbura Email : ashuki331@gmail.com Whatsapp : 0773747219 Bank Acct: 816001974 (Commercial Bank - Sri Lanka) I would appreciate more if you give the money directly to the bank account

Help us move before it's too late
My name is D.Gayani, and I am reaching out with a humble heart, asking for your help during one of the most difficult times of my life. I currently live in a small rented house with my mother. Sadly, our landlord has asked us to vacate the house as soon as possible because they want to increase the rent and rent it to another family. I am the only person earning in my family, and the salary I receive is barely enough to cover our basic monthly expenses such as food, bills, and medical needs. Finding extra money for a new house, especially to pay for the advance deposit and moving costs, feels almost impossible for me right now. I have tried everything within my power to manage this situation, but I have come to a point where I realize I cannot do it alone. I have no family members or friends who are financially able to help. It breaks my heart to see my mother so worried, and I am determined to do everything possible to keep her safe and sheltered. This is why I am asking for your help. I am trying to raise [3500 USD] to cover the initial costs of securing a new rental home – including the deposit, first month’s rent, and moving expenses. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping us find a safe place to live before the deadline. I know times are tough for everyone, and asking for help is not easy for me. But your kindness and support could make all the difference for us right now. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing my story with others would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support, prayers, and compassion are truly appreciated more than words can express. With your help, I hope to give my mother and myself a safe place to call home once again. Please consider making a donation today. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
