From Pain to Calm: A Free Support Website
Hi, and thank you for being here 🤍 This project was born from a very personal place. I went through a period of deep depression and anxiety, where simple things like breathing, grounding, and finding calm felt extremely difficult. During that time, I searched for tools to help myself — breathing exercises, self-help guides, calming texts — but everything was scattered across different websites, platforms, and languages. That’s when the idea came: to create one free, simple, and multilingual website that gathers the most important tools for emotional support in one place, so that anyone, anywhere in the world, can access it in their own language. The website will include: • Basic and effective breathing exercises • Step-by-step self-help guides • Calming and grounding text practices All in one space. Easy to access. Free for everyone. Available in multiple languages so that no one feels excluded because of where they live or what language they speak. This is not just a project for me. It’s a way to turn pain into something meaningful and helpful for others who might be struggling silently. Your support helps me dedicate time to development, learning, design, and turning this idea into a real, working website. Even one dollar is a reminder that this mission matters and that I’m not building it alone. Thank you for believing in this vision 🤍 This is a personal mission project, created from the heart. It is not a foundation, not an organization, and not a charity. It is simply a personal initiative by someone who wants to turn their experience into something meaningful and helpful for others. Support is completely voluntary and helps me dedicate more time and energy to building this free website as a personal initiative for people around the world. If my story and this vision resonate with you, and you feel connected to this idea, you are welcome to support me.🤍

Support Jess through this unimaginable diagnosis

Support Jess through this unimaginable diagnosis
Our beautiful Jess, our sister, daughter, devoted mum, soulmate to Andy, and cherished friend to so many, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). This has metastasised (spread) to her liver and gallbladder. What we know so far is that this cancer is very rare and aggressive. With no options for a cure, we are hoping that Chemo might give us more time, our family is doing everything we can to support her through the treatment and journey ahead. Jess is a devoted mum to four incredible girls, step mum to Archie and Theo, and possibly the kindest, most genuine, and gentle humans you could ever meet. She gives so much of herself to others, to her family, her friends, and her clients through her work as an OT. Now, it’s our turn to help hold her. We’re raising funds to help ease the financial pressure while Jess and Andy navigate next steps around treatment. We hope to extend survival, improve quality of life, and give Jess the chance to be as comfortable as possible, do some of the things she loves, and spend precious time with the people she loves. At this stage, we are not sure that Jess will be able to return to work in any capacity. Funds raised will go toward medical costs, travel to appointments, household bills, and supporting Andy and the kids during this incredibly tough and heartbreaking time. When life changes so suddenly, the last thing anyone should have to worry about is how they’ll pay the bills or take time off work to care for the person they love. If you’re able to donate, big or small, it will make a real difference. If you can’t donate, we completely understand and simply ask that you can help by sharing this page or sending love and prayers. It all really means the world to us. Thank you for standing with Jess and our family. ❤

Serving the Vulnerable: A Community Initiative
Serving the Vulnerable: A Community Initiative As part of our commitment to serving humanity, we're launching an initiative to support the elders and kids in our society who need it most. Through partnerships with local organizations, we'll be providing healthcare and educational resources to make a tangible difference in their lives. The Need is Real Sri Lanka is facing a growing eldercare deficit, with 12.3% of the population aged 60 or older, making it the country with the highest proportion of older adults in South Asia. Meanwhile, children in rural and remote areas struggle to access quality education, with one in four under the age of five stunted. Our initiative aims to address these pressing issues . Our Focus Areas: • Healthcare for Elders: Medical check-ups, medicines, and health awareness sessions to promote healthy aging • Education for Kids: School supplies, scholarships, and tutoring to empower the next generation Recent Success: Healthcare Camp and School Item Distribution Last week, our team successfully organized a healthcare camp and distributed school items to elders and kids in need, thanks to generous local donations. The event saw 50 beneficiaries, with medical check-ups for 25 elders & 25 kids receiving school supplies. This initiative is a testament to the power of community support and our commitment to serving the vulnerable. The Value of Our Initiative By supporting elders and kids, we're not only improving individual lives but also strengthening our community. Our initiative will: • Promote intergenerational connections and social cohesion • Enhance the well-being and dignity of elders • Empower kids to reach their full potential • Foster a sense of community and social responsibility How You Can Help • Contribute to our fund • Volunteer your time and skills • Spread the word about our initiative Together, we can create a ripple effect of kindness and compassion in our community.
