Help Mom’s Fighting Lymphoma Cancer
Our mother, Ghada Kachmar, a strong and loving 55-year-old woman, has been fighting lymphoma with incredible strength. After completing an eight-cycle chemotherapy regimen from November 22, 2023, to April 18, 2024, we were relieved when her PET scan showed a good response. However, just three months later, a follow-up scan revealed the devastating news that the disease had returned.
Her doctor, Dr. Mohamad Haidar, has recommended a bone marrow transplant, a procedure that offers hope but comes with a daunting cost. Dr. Collette Hanna, who is overseeing the transplant, has estimated the cost to be approximately $33,000 at Rizk LAU Medical Center.
As her daughters, my sister Lara and I have been doing everything we can to cover her treatment expenses, but this next step is beyond our financial reach. We need your help to give our mother the chance she deserves to continue her fight.

غادة قشمر، 55 سنة، أم لابنتين بدون رب منزل، تركنا مع مرض الليمفوما الذي أصاب والدتنا بسبب ارتفاع تكاليف العلاج.
عملت أنا وأختي لتوفير العلاج الكيميائي لها، والذي بدأت دورتها الأولى منذ 22 نوفمبر 23 حتى 18 أبريل 24 الدورة الثامنة الأخيرة.
بعد ذلك، أظهرت نتيجة فحص بيتسكان استجابة جيدة للعلاج. ولكن بعد 3 أشهر أثناء إجراء فحص بيتسكان مرة أخرى، اكتشف الدكتور محمد حيدر انتشار المرض مرة أخرى ونصح بإجراء عملية زرع نخاع العظم.
الدكتورة كوليت حنا هي المسؤولة عن إجراء عملية زرع نخاع العظم في غضون شهرين ولكن التكاليف تجاوزت توقعاتنا والتي بلغت حوالي 33000 دولار أمريكي في مركز رزق الطبي للجامعة اللبنانية الأمريكية.
