Help 75 Displaced People in a Beirut Mosque
My name is Georges Haddad. I am a neon artisan and a secular social activist based in Beirut. When crisis hits, I believe in showing up with action, not just words. During the 2024 war, I worked with my friends to support displaced families on the ground. I also organized a "Hunger Strike Chain" action for Gaza and helped gather warm clothes for the Palestinian amputee children being cared for by Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah’s organization here in Beirut. Now, the war is back. This year, the number of displaced people is staggering, and the needs are greater than ever. I am currently focusing my efforts on 22 families—75 people in total—who have taken shelter in a mosque near my home. They have lost everything and are starting from zero. These are families with children, elderly, and people with medical needs who are living in cramped conditions with barely any essentials. I am launching this fundraiser to provide them with: · Food & Water: Daily meals and clean drinking water. · Hygiene Kits: Diapers, baby formula, sanitary products, and soap. · Medicine: Urgent medical supplies and chronic illness medications. · Mattresses & Blankets: So they don’t have to sleep on the cold floor. Because I am working directly with these families, I can guarantee that 100% of your donations will go directly to their immediate needs. I will provide updates with receipts and photos of the aid being distributed. Even a small contribution can provide a meal for a family. Thank you for standing with us during this terrifying time.

This story will break your heart
In Yemen, Lebanon, and Palestine, suffering doesn’t begin at night… it never truly ends. There, thousands of families live on the edge of survival, where the simplest things we take for granted have become distant dreams. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of a child crying… not out of fear, but from hunger. A small child holding their empty stomach, asking their mother: “Is there any food?” And she stays silent… because the answer hurts more than hunger itself. Imagine a mother spending her entire day searching for anything to feed her children—collecting leftover bread, borrowing what she can—only to return home with nothing. She sits beside her children, hiding her tears, telling them that tomorrow will be better… not knowing if that’s true. Imagine a father who once provided for his family, now standing helpless in front of closed doors. No job. No income. No hope in sight. He watches his children sleep on the cold ground, without enough cover, as the freezing night slowly takes its toll. Some families no longer even have a roof over their heads. Their homes were destroyed or became unlivable, forcing them into torn tents or broken shelters where the cold enters from every side. When it rains, it doesn’t bring comfort—it brings fear… because it means another night of suffering. And then there are the sick… People who need simple medicine, yet cannot afford it. Their pain grows—not just from illness, but from knowing that treatment exists, just out of reach. This is not a story… This is their reality. Every single day. But this is where you can make a difference. Your donation is not just money… It is a meal for a hungry child, A blanket for a freezing family, Medicine for someone in pain, A shelter for those who have lost everything. How your donation will be used: We are committed to transparency, ensuring your support reaches those who truly need it: 40% for food: Providing essential food packages including rice, flour, oil, and basic supplies to sustain families. 30% for shelter: Helping cover simple rent, repairing damaged shelters, or providing temporary housing like tents. 20% for medical care: Supplying urgent medications for those in critical need, especially children and the elderly. 10% for other essentials: Including blankets, clothing, and clean drinking water. No matter how small your contribution is, it can create a real impact. What may seem little to you… could mean survival to them. Why now? Because some cannot wait. For many, each passing day is harder than the last… and help is needed urgently. A message from the heart: Don’t scroll past this as just another story. Pause. Imagine. Feel. If you can help—do it now. And if you cannot, please don’t let their voices fade… Share this story. You might be the reason a life is saved. Kindness doesn’t require much… Just a caring heart and a small

Support Displaced Lebanese Women: Hygiene & Basics

Support Displaced Lebanese Women: Hygiene & Basics
After our visit to the displacement centers lately, we kept hearing one phrase repeated: “We’re fine”… But the truth is, between those words, there was so much left unsaid. Food is available, water is there, and blankets too… but there are essential needs being overlooked, because no one talks about them. Because our guests are women of dignity and strength, there are small details that make a big difference… Hygiene essentials, basic underwear, and towels. Things we may consider ordinary, but for many women today… they are essential. This is how the “From Us, Among Us” campaign began, to help us reach 1,000 women among the thousands in displacement centers. The kits include, in brief: toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap and shampoo, tissues and scented wipes, towels, sanitary pads, underwear, socks, flannels, headscarves, alcohol and disinfectant, deodorant, laundry detergent. In addition, we will be providing: psychological support sessions for women and children, and educational sessions for children. It’s not just about aid… it’s about standing by one another. Your support helps us reach them. 🤍 For donations and more information: Zeina Dbouk — 03 696 137 بعد زيارتنا اليوم لمراكز النازحين،
