Cold Without Cover: Save Gaza’s Families
Cold Without Cover: Save Gaza’s Families
I write to you while struggling to describe the magnitude of pain and devastation unfolding in Gaza. This is not just a war; it’s a humanitarian crisis that touches every home and every heart. Lives are being lost, and dreams vanish amidst the ruins of homes once filled with life. Destruction is everywhere, and the cries of children merge with the groans of the wounded. Mothers are gripped with pain for their children, and families live in constant fear of what might come next. As winter approaches, the suffering grows beyond words. Cold rain seeps through worn-out tents that can barely withstand light showers, let alone heavy rains and storms. Children shiver in the biting cold, and families lack even the most basic means of warmth. The skyrocketing prices of winter clothing make it nearly impossible for many to afford proper protection against the harsh weather. Amidst this heart-wrenching reality, there is a simple yet impactful solution: a tarpaulin sheet. This durable material, priced between $150 and $200 depending on size and timing of purchase, could be a lifeline. It can repair torn tents, prevent water leakage, and create better shelter for these vulnerable families. Instead of the costly alternative of new tents, tarpaulins offer a practical and effective way to shield countless people from the brutal winter conditions. The people of Gaza are not looking for pity; they want peace, dignity, and their fundamental right to live. They fight to survive, but they are being worn down physically and emotionally with each passing day. Standing with them in this critical moment is not a choice but a moral duty. Let us be part of the solution and help them endure this unbearable hardship.

A Stolen Childhood and Dreams Waiting for Support

A Stolen Childhood and Dreams Waiting for Support
I’m Mohammad, and I Need Your Help to Rebuild My Life My name is Mohammad, a 16-year-old Palestinian boy, born in Gaza. Recently, I was forced to leave my homeland and leave some of my family and friends behind in search of safety. Now, I live in Egypt, far from them and from everything I once loved. Life here is tough, and every day I live, I miss their faces and dream of returning, but the circumstances are stronger than me. A long time ago, I went through a painful experience that still haunts me to this day. I was walking down the street when a police car next to me was hit by an airstrike. It wasn’t just a car; it was, for us, a symbol of safety amidst the constant fear. In a single moment, I watched four people lose their lives right before my eyes. The days passed, but that scene has never left my memory, and the symptoms of the trauma still follow me to this day. Animals have always been an important part of my life. I had two beautiful cats, Besa and Snow, and two wonderful parrots, Coco and Lulu, and they had little chicks at the time. They were my real source of happiness, especially amidst all the pain we lived through. When we were forced to leave, we thought we would return in just a few days. For that reason, we left our little birds with enough food, believing we would return quickly to take care of them. But I had no idea I would never see them again. Due to the long period of displacement, the pair of birds and their chicks all died from hunger, after their food ran out, without anyone to take care of them. Today, I live without them all, and I miss their presence that once filled my life with joy. Despite all these losses, I still hold onto hope. I dream of going back to studying, returning to my hobbies, and building a future despite everything. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Any support, no matter how small, could make a real difference in my life. I’m not asking for much... just a chance to start over. Please, be a part of my story. Let’s write a new chapter together, filled with hope. Thank you to everyone who reads my message and extends a helping hand. — Mohammad from Gaza

Help my family survive and evacuate Gaza

Family

Help my family survive and evacuate Gaza
I am Sanaa's father.. After we emerged from death.. After our house was destroyed, My wife, my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and I were expelled by the occupation from northern Gaza and forced to flee on November 11, 2023. We became homeless, without clothing, and without food. Now we live in a tent made of nylon and we are trying to survive in it despite the severe cold and rain. My daughter is getting cold and I cannot provide her with a blanket, clothes, or diapers. Because of the war, I have become unemployed. My family has no income and I cannot provide less than you can imagine for my family due to the high cost of goods and the huge increase in prices. My father, who is also 62 years old, is a war victim and has chronic diseases and is a patient with asthma and pneumonia. He needs continuous treatment and I cannot provide it for him. The money we are seeking to collect will serve two vital purposes. First, it will enable my family to escape the horrors of war in Gaza, and provide them with the necessary means to seek safety in a safer environment. Secondly, the money will be instrumental in rebuilding our lives, whether in Gaza after the war or elsewhere, where peace and stability provide an opportunity for a new beginning. This includes the urgent medical treatment my father needs. We are appealing for your kindness and humanity to help my father and my family during this critical time. Your generosity can provide them with a lifeline, helping them escape the dangers of war and begin the journey towards healing and rebuilding their lives. Please donate even a little for my family because your donation makes a huge difference in our lives. I am here today to ask for your help so that my family can survive and be evacuated from this war and reach true safety and peace. I understand that we are all going through difficult times, so anything helps.. whether it is your love and support, a donation, sharing my story, or sending love, prayers, positive and healing vibes. All is accepted and greatly appreciated.

Dogs Lives Matter TOO
Dogs Lives Matter TOO
Help Us Give Dogs a Second Chance because "Dogs Lives Matter TOO" Dear friends and compassionate hearts, my name is Patricia, and I am a passionate advocate for dogs in need and for the past two years, I have dedicated my life to rescuing stray dogs in need. At 50 years old, I made the bold decision to take an early retirement and leave my job to dedicate my life, time and efforts to a cause that is close to my heart: rescuing and rehabilitating dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused. I believe that every dog deserves a loving home and a chance at a happy life. Through my initiative, "Dogs Lives Matter TOO," I have committed myself fully to raising awareness about the plight of these innocent animals and providing them with the care they deserve. But to truly make a difference, I need your support. These dogs rely on us, and together, we can change their lives forever. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards: - Medical care and vaccinations for rescued dogs - Food, shelter and supplies to ensure their well being - Surgeries for the injured - Spaying and neutering I have saved over 20 dogs from the streets, providing them with a safe haven and covering all their medical and living expenses out of my own savings and salary. Each dog has a story, and each one deserves a chance at a loving home. Currently, all my rescued dogs are in paid boarding, and while I have poured my heart and finances into their care, I am now facing a critical situation. I am almost out of funds and find myself unable to continue covering their expenses or take on any new cases. Every day, I encounter more dogs in need of help, but without support, I fear that I will have to return my dogs to the streets where they will face danger and uncertainty. For the first time, I am reaching out for assistance. I have never asked for donations before, but I am now at a point where I must seek help to continue this vital work. With only enough funds to cover the next couple of months, I am hoping to raise enough to keep my current dogs safe and healthy, and to create a future where they can find their forever homes. In addition to funding their care, I am also committed to finding loving families for each of them, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. Your support can make a tremendous impact. Every dollar raised will go directly towards their medical care, food, and shelter, and will help me continue rescuing those who cannot speak for themselves. Please consider donating to "Dogs Lives Matter TOO" and be a part of this journey to change lives. Together, we can give these dogs the second chance they so desperately need. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to making a significant impact. With your help, we can provide these dogs with hope, love, and the chance for a brighter future. Thank you for considering supporting "Dogs Lives Matter TOO." Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who cannot speak for themselves. With gratitude, and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your compassion and support. Warm regards, Patricia
