Story ahed : Ahed talal lives in the Gaza Strip with his family of 7 brather and married with two children . Sadly, and as the eldest son, he is the primary breadwinner for his family. The family does not currently have any source of income, as finding employment is difficult at this time. ahed's mother, siblings, and their children currently live at a school, because their house was bombed. They have been displaced several times. They were forced to evacuate from the school at one point because there were threats that the school would be bombed. They traveled to Rafah and lived in a camp for the displaced for a period, but when the Rafah invasion became a huge concern, the decision was made to return to the school. As you may have heard, there is no place safe in Gaza. ahed wrote appeal, and he asked me to share his words here: I recently realized that there were no longer any options left for me to support my family here and keep them safe, because the situation in Gaza is very dangerous. Unfortunately, I lost everything in this war. The house I was living in was bombed and I was left empty-handed. Two months ago, the Israeli army threatened the school where my family and I were displaced, so we had to evacuate and leave. We built a tent in the camp for displaced people in Rafah, and now we live in a tent in the rain and cold air. We are displaced with every threat and we fear the worst will happen soon. My experience in this war was very painful. We have been stripped of all forms of humanity and life. Instead of seeing fireworks lighting up our skies, we see phosphorus bombs and drones. We sleep with fear and constant bombing around us. There was not a single night of peace, since the beginning of this war. Instead of seeing little children smiling, I see children shedding tears and pain. Everyone in Gaza is hurting, old and young. Children here cry instead of laughing. Happiness has been erased from Gaza. Families have been torn apart. Everyone around me is dying and even my help is not enough. We are targeted anywhere and everywhere. My family's safety is not guaranteed. All supplies are dwindling. Gaza is dying and everyone here is just a dead man walking. No one sees my pain. I must put a smile on for the world and for the children. I see. I have seen all the horrors this war has brought on our people. Palestinian mothers cry for their martyred sons, their widowed wives, and their orphaned children. Air strikes and bombing are approaching us. We in Gaza are accustomed to this life of pain. The only new thing now is the different artillery used against us.

Before the war, I used to capture moments of happiness and success through my camera lens, my husband and I built our dream home together, furnished it, and took care of every detail to make it our lifelong home, and we welcomed our first child, Omar, "the fruit of our love," into it, but everything changed after October 7th. I lost my job, and there was nothing left in Gaza except bombing, death and destruction to capture through my lens and our beloved home, the place we dreamed of spending our entire lives in, has been damaged. During this war, we were forced to evacuate several times, facing the threat of death repeatedly. We endured the cold, hunger, high prices, and scarce resources, and my ten-month-old son, Omar, has spent more than half of his life in the war. After five months of suffering, we have exhausted all solutions to protect our family. There is no safe place here in Gaza and I can’t bear the thought of any harm coming to my family. Please help us survive the war in Gaza by leaving and traveling to another safe place, so that we can start our lives anew from scratch again; As Darwish said, we love life if we find a way to it. It was always a struggle in the past due to everyone's lack of compassion and empathy towards animals, however it has gotten worse due to the war. In the past, I've reached out to NGOs, shelters, and organizations for support... Recently, some have generously offered assistance, especially now that we're in a challenging situation, and we're truly grateful for their help. However, many animals have NO food and water. I'm raising funds to provide essential supplies like food and medical care for these animals and fellow rescuers in the area. Your support would mean the world to us. As a Lebanese American with deep roots and extended family in Lebanon, I am heartbroken by the current humanitarian crisis my homeland is facing. The ongoing conflict and Israeli aggression have led to tremendous loss of life and the displacement of countless families. Many have been forced to flee their homes, leaving everything behind in search of safety. Through this fundahope campaign, I aim to provide much-needed support to those affected. I will be donating directly to the Lebanese Red Cross, an organization that is on the front lines providing essential aid and medical support. Additionally, the main purpose of this fundahope is to directly donate to families desperate of assistance with no other connections. I will be sending receipts of the money transfers and ensuring donators are aware of where their money is going and how it is being used. Your contributions will help deliver: food, shelter, medical supplies, and other critical resources to those who are suffering. Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a significant impact and provide hope to those in need. Lebanon is a small country and we are united as one. My name is Samah Jouda, a Palestinian student and I was born on July 27, 2001. I am currently in my fifth year of studying dentistry at Istanbul Okan University in Turkey. Becoming a dentist has been my dream for as long as I can remember. However, I find myself at a crucial juncture in my journey, facing a situation that threatens to end my studies. My family’s circumstances are incredibly difficult. My father, who is elderly, is the sole provider for our family, and we are facing financial challenges that have made it nearly impossible to keep up with the financial demands of my education. On top of this, my father is also supporting my late uncle’s family, including two male and one female university students, as they have no one else to turn to since my uncle passed away in the war. Last semester, I was unable to pay my tuition fees, and though my teachers were kind enough to allow me to sit for my exams, my access to the university system was restricted throughout the year. Now, as I approach my final clinical year, I am deeply worried that without help, I will be unable to complete my studies. I have already completed 80 percent of the way, and I’m so close to reaching the finish line. This year is critical; it’s when I’ll gain the practical experience I need to become a qualified dentist. Without the funds to cover my tuition, all the years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice will be in vain. The school year commenced on September 2, 2024, and I urgently need to pay at least half of my tuition fees to access the clinical department and take my exams. Without this payment, I won't be able to participate in any online exams, as my name will be excluded from the exam list due to system restrictions. I am reaching out for support to ensure I don’t miss this critical opportunity in my education. I am reaching out with a humble request for your help. The funds I am hoping to raise will be used solely to cover my university fees, allowing me to continue my education and enter the final stage of my training.
