Since 2020, the Akkar Trail Wildfire Response Team has been Lebanon’s first volunteer-based unit specialized in fighting forest fires in rugged, hard-to-reach terrains. Working alongside Civil Defense, municipalities, and local communities, the team has played a vital role in reducing wildfire impact across the region. But today, the team is facing its toughest season yet—with almost no resources left. The situation is urgent: Only two firefighting vehicles, both in desperate need of repair Trained volunteers waiting without proper protective equipment No budget for fuel, hoses, or essential safety gear An early and intense fire season, triggered by severe drought In short: The willpower is there. Our Melody

A group of eighth-grade students from Ecole de l’Éducation Moderne in Ain, North Bekaa, Lebanon, launched a school cooperative named "Naghmati" – Our Melody, inspired by the cooperative model of Cooperazione Trentina in Trento, Italy. Focused on music, the cooperative aims to raise $5,000 to set up a fully equipped music classroom, allowing students to explore music as a new hobby and form of expression. Once the goal is achieved, the students plan to host a musical event as a heartfelt thank-you to all donors and supporters who contributed to bringing their vision to life. أطلق مجموعة من طلاب الصف الثامن في مدرسة التربية الحديثة في بلدة عين، البقاع الشمالي – لبنان، تعاونية مدرسية تحمل اسم "نغمتي"، مستوحاة من نموذج التعاونيات في Cooperazione Trentina بمدينة ترينتو الإيطالية. تركّز هذه التعاونية على مجال الموسيقى، وتهدف إلى جمع مبلغ 5000 دولار أميركي لتجهيز صف موسيقى متكامل بالآلات والمعدات اللازمة، مما يتيح للطلاب اكتشاف هواية جديدة والتعبير عن أنفسهم من خلال الفن. وعند تحقيق هدفهم، يخطط الطلاب لتنظيم أمسية موسيقية كتعبير عن شكرهم وامتنانهم لجميع الداعمين والمتبرعين الذين ساهموا في إنجاح هذه المبادرة.

In Wavel Camp (Baalbek, Lebanon), our kindergarten was more than just a school. It was a sanctuary — a safe, nurturing space where 160 children from Palestinian and Syrian refugee families, as well as vulnerable Lebanese households, could learn, play, and dream. Then came the war. Our beloved building was damaged, and our hopes rested on support to rebuild. But amid global funding cuts, our children were left behind — with no classroom, no resources, and no safe place to return to. Still, we refuse to give up. We’re determined to restore this vital space — to bring back warmth, safety, and joy to children who have already endured far too much. But we can’t do it without you. Your support can rebuild not just a building — but their future. Our school has contributed to the development of our skills and the interest in promoting the spirit of cooperation among students by joining the school cooperative project that was established as a cooperation project between Italian cooperatives in Trento "Cooperazione Trentina”. After several discussions among the members of the cooperative, and because sport is an education for souls, the individual from us learns several values; we voted and elected a board of directors representing us. We chose a sports activity that requires the preparation of different stadiums to practice several sports according to recognized standards, including mini football, volleyball, badminton and basketball. Help me ! أنا شخص يسعى لتحقيق أحلامه بعد إنهاء دراستي الثانوية بعد شهرين، أهدف إلى متابعة تعليمي الجامعي في مجال الهندسة خارج لبنان ايّ في فرنسا . ولكن نظرًا للأوضاع الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والأمنية في لبنان، وارتفاع تكاليف المعيشة، فقد قررت البحث عن فرصة لمواصلة تعليمي خارج لبنان. تفكيري يتّجه نحو فرنسا لمواصلة دراستي، حيث يمكنني الاستقرار وتحقيق طموحاتي. ومن أجل ذلك، أحتاج إلى دعم مالي لتغطية رسوم الجامعة وتكاليف المعيشة في المرحلة الأولى، لأنني لا أملك القدرة المالية الكافية لتحمل هذه التكاليف وعائلتي تواجه ضغوطًا مالية كبيرة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، لا توفر في لبنان الفرص والإمكانيات اللازمة لتحقيق طموحاتي في مجال العلمي المتعلق بالجامعة بسبب عجز الجامعات الحكومية و الرسمية عن العمل بأكثر الأوقات . لذا، فإن الحصول على دعم مالي سيكون حاسمًا لي للبدء في رحلتي التعليمية وتحقيق أهدافي في الحياة. I am a person who worked to achieve their dreams . After completing my secondary education after 2 months , I am to pursue my university education in the field of engineering. However, due to the economic, social, and security situations in Lebanon, coupled with the high cost of living there, I have decided to seek opportunities to continue my education outside Lebanon in france . My thoughts are leaning towards France to continue my studies, where I can settle and fulfill my ambitions. Therefore, I need financial support to cover university fees and living expenses in the initial stage, as I do not have the sufficient financial capability to bear these costs and my family is facing significant financial pressures. Additionally, Lebanon's infrastructure does not provide the necessary opportunities and resources to achieve my aspirations in the field of engineering. Therefore, obtaining financial support will be crucial for me to embark on my educational journey and achieve my goals in life. Je suis quelqu'un qui s'efforce de réaliser ses rêves et aspirations dans la vie. Après avoir terminé mes études secondaires, je vise à poursuivre mes études universitaires dans le domaine de l'ingénierie. Cependant, en raison de la situation économique, sociale et sécuritaire au Liban, associée au coût élevé de la vie là-bas, j'ai décidé de chercher des opportunités pour poursuivre mes études en dehors du Liban. Mes pensées se dirigent vers la France pour continuer mes études, où je peux m'installer et réaliser mes ambitions. Par conséquent, j'ai besoin d'un soutien financier pour couvrir les frais de scolarité universitaire et les dépenses de subsistance dans la phase initiale, car je n'ai pas la capacité financière suffisante pour supporter ces coûts et ma famille est confrontée à d'importantes pressions financières.
