Help Hrayr Get His Treatment!
It all started back in 2021 when he began to notice something unsettling: a growing weakness in his legs and a constant tingling sensation in his hands. The symptoms kept getting worse over time. His balance became unsteady, and walking or taking the stairs for even a short distance felt like a struggle.
After visiting several doctors and undergoing a series of tests, Hrayr was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), a rare autoimmune disorder that attacks the protective covering of his nerves. The diagnosis hit Hrayr hard, as he was told that without treatment, the disease could progressively worsen, potentially leaving him unable to walk.
Because the treatment was too expensive, Hrayr's doctor recommended other ways to help keeping him stable and standing on his feet. He tried several medications such as Solumedrol, Corticosteroids (Prednisone), Immunosuppressive Drugs (Cellsept, Probeptol, Super B-Complex, Dietaroma, Neurobion) but none actually made any difference. He would get better for a couple of weeks and after that would be back to zero.
When nothing worked, the doctor insisted on underlying the IVIG treatment. This treatment costs nearly 10,000$ as a start and the expenses reach to 20,000$.
We're doing this fundraiser so that we can help Hrayr get back on his feet and get his life back to normal. If you read this and feel compassionate with Hrayr, please reach out and help him in anyway you can.
We thank you for being by our side through this tough time.
Regards,
Hrayr's family & friends.
