Mahmoud Fakih is running for a seat at the Lebanese parliament in Beirut second district محمود كامل فقيه، صحافي في جريدة النهار؛ حاصل على دبلوم في المعلوماتية العامة ودبلوم في المعلوماتية الإدارية من CNAM-Paris؛ حائز على إجازة في الصحافة من كلية الاعلام والتوثيق في الجامعة اللبنانية؛ تابع دراسته من الروضة حتى صف الثانوي الأول في الكلية العاملية، وتخرج من ثانوية رأس النبع الرسمية. عمل في أكثر من قناة ووكالة أنباء في مجال الإعلام؛ لديه مقالات متخصصة بالقضية الكردية منشورة في جريدة السفير اللبنانية. يشغل حاليا مركز مسؤول صفحة "صيحات" في جريدة النهار وله مقالات منشورة تتعلق في شتى المواضيع السياسية والثقافية. وُلد ونشأ في محلة رأس النبع في شارع عمر بن الخطاب؛ شارك منذ نشأته في المظاهرات العمالية في أوائل التسعينات مرافقاً والده المناضل النقابي كامل فقيه. تعرّف مع والده على العمل النقابي وخضع لدورات نقابية مع مؤسسة فريدريش إيبرت. كان الشأن العمالي وحقوق العمال وأنظمة التشغيل من صميم اهتماماته نضالياً وإعلامياً. على الصعيد الإعلامي، تخصّص في الاعلام الرقمي واعلام المجتمع المدني وخضع لدورات عدة مع مؤسسة مهارات ومؤسسة الصوت الحر (هولندا) ومركز حماية الصحفيين والوكالة الفرنسية للتعاون الإعلامي. عام 2011، كان من الوجوه المنظمة لحراك اسقاط النظام الطائفي ومظاهراته العابرة للمناطق آنذاك. لمع نجمه أثناء حراك ملف النفايات عام 2015 وأثناء اقتحام وزارة البيئة من قبل الناشطين واستمر في الحراك رغم خمود الشارع. ظُهر يوم الخميس 17 تشرين 2019، نشر مقالاً في جريدة النهار بعنوان "في اليوم الدولي للقضاء على الفقر... لبنان بحاجة إلى أوكرانيين وحاويات كبيرة" ومساء ذلك اليوم كان هو الذي دعا وحرّك المظاهرة الأولى اعتراضاً على السياسة الضرائبية والتي أدت إلى اندلاع ثورة 17 تشرين. ولا يزال في الشارع إلى جانب الناس، معهم وخلفهم. Mahmoud Kamel Fakih A journalist at Annahar newspaper, currently in charge of the "Sayhat" page; He has published several articles concerning various political and cultural topics. He is renowned for his articles on the Kurdish cause in the Lebanese newspaper “As-Safir”, and had worked in numerous media channels and news agencies. He holds a degree in journalism from the Faculty of Science and Documentation at the Lebanese University, and a diploma in Computer science (Engineering and Computer Integration) from CNAM - Paris, and a diploma in Business Computer engineering from CNAM - Paris. He is a specialist in digital media, civil society media, and a trained media activist involved with several institutions in the field of Human Rights and Freedoms such as “Maharat”, Free Voice Foundation (Netherlands), the Center for the Protection of Journalists, and the French Agency for the cooperation in media. He practiced activism alongside his father, the late trade union activist Kamel Faqih, and participated since his early years in labor demonstrations from Al-Barbeer Bridge to Down Town Beirut and all areas in Lebanon. He underwent union courses with the Labor Union Organization Friedrich Ebert, where his main concerns were labor laws, labor rights and operating systems, as a militant and a journalist. Political activist, member of Tahalof Watani and October 17 youth, he was one of the organizers of the movement against the sectarian regime and its demonstrations in 2011. He played a major role in the uprising during the waste crisis in 2015 and during the demonstrations against the Ministry of Environment. He continued activism and mobilization despite the street silence. He wrote the article "On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty... Lebanon needs Ukrainians and big containers" published in An-Nahar newspaper on morning of Thursday, October 17, 2019, and was one of the first to call and mobilize the first protest against tax policy, which led to the October 17 revolution. And he's still on the street next to the people, with them and behind them. Born in Mahalleh Ras Al-Nabaa, Bin Al-Khattab Street; He studied in AMILIAH high school, and graduated from Ras Al-Nabaa public high school.

Vice president of Arab States for ICOMOS international scientific committee on Water & Heritage. She has worked internationally in London, Philadelphia, New York and Beirut on public space master plans, urban wilderness, mobility, street lighting and landscape heritage conservation. She is a published author and regularly collaborates to art projects. Politically engaged in Beirut since 2013 and founding member of the award winning Dalieh Campaign and the Lebanese Coast Alliance. She was active with the Fouad Boutros Campaign to protect the Hekmeh area in Achrafieh from a highway, and most with recently the Save Bisri Campaign. Active from the USA with the Beirut Madinati municipal campaign in 2016, she took part in the October 17th Revolution. The Beirut Madinati list represents the people and stands against the ruling class to fight corruption and restore Lebanon's sovereignty and its institutions away from clientelism and sectarianism and mismanagement and negligence to start building the new Lebanon country of our dreams and aspirations. He is also a founding member of Marsad al-Chaabi (the Popular Observatory), which carries a transformational mission to strengthen Lebanon and make the country capable of facing internal and external challenges. He is the son and muse of the streets of the revolution. He is driven by hope and calls for confrontation until his very last breath. Michel Philippe Helou Born and raised abroad, he graduated with an Msc in Management from HEC Paris business school. In 2015, he moved to Beirut and held the position of the Executive Director of L’Orient-Le Jour, the oldest newspaper published in Lebanon. For 6 years, he worked to restructure and turn the outlet into a digital-first media group, while fighting to maintain the independence and integrity of this symbolic institution. In October 2020, he launched the group’s English-language publication, L’Orient Today. In February 2019, he took part in the re-launch of the National Bloc, a historical party that resumed its political activities to offer an alternative to the existing political scene. He fights for sovereignty, a civil state, and a free and fair economy. Robert Fouad Khalife He is a civil engineering graduate from the American University of Beirut, registered in the Engineers Syndicate in Beirut, and a former member of the Hadath municipality council. He is an activist who fights relentlessly for the rights of the Lebanese, and is deeply involved in working in public affairs. He is a revolutionary, rising against the injustice that people are facing, and the bitter reality which is causing the emigration of young Lebanese. Abir Naji Adnan She has been politically active for more than 20 years. She studied International Relations at the Sergio Arboleda University in Colombia from 1994 to 1996 and is the founder of the company “Del harmon” which exports Lebanese goods and handicrafts. She is also active in Al-Abadiyah Sports and Cultural Club and is one of the founders of “Tadamon Al Nass” (Solidarity of the People) in Al-Matn Al Aala, and a member of the Council for Political Relations in the LiHaqqi movement. She aspires for change and believes in the power of the people to build a state of social justice. Ziad Mikhael Akl He is the President of YASA (Youth Association for Safety Awareness), and multiple environmental protection and human rights associations. He has a distinguished academic background. He holds six postgraduate diplomas in different branches of political sciences & law from Sagesse University and the Lebanese University. He started his political career in 2018 by running for parliamentary elections with a national coalition. Since then, he has been directing his political activity to try to save Lebanon. Support the LGBTQ+ community in Lebanon
Ma3kon (pronounced “maakon” and meaning “with you” in Arabic – معكم) is a grassroots humanitarian initiative that was established in the wake of the devastating August 4th Beirut explosion. The NGO is led and co-founded by three Lebanese university students aiming to ensure the accessibility of essential products to vulnerable communities and marginalized groups in Lebanon such as the LGBTQIA+ community, migrant domestic workers, refugees, and the elderly. Ma3kon supplies menstrual products and diapers (both children and adult size) for established local NGOs and vulnerable groups across Lebanon. Today, we are a group of 27 students dedicated to fighting unequal access to basic hygiene and period poverty in the country. In the past year, we were able to donate over 10,000 period pads and 9,000 diapers to 10 different NGOs across Lebanon. Ma3kon also aims to deconstruct taboos embedded in the Arab world by tackling subjects that revolve around sex education, menstruation, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
